    Hi every one i just got the best idea i know no one would know who iam but i think i might have something here as pokemon diamond and pearl roms a crap not talking about roms for they are ilegal icould make a diamond hack for gba base rom maby fire red or emerald but i can hack a bit but i kind of suck i am asking for volontiers if you acept i thank you.
     
    Erm.. Firstly of all, wrong section! please someone move thisto emulation. And secondly, this wouldn't work, you need the touch screen!
     
    no no i would change the the rom slightly ditch the touch screen i know a bout that stuff im not a dumbass i would change some parts
     
    As stated beofre this is in the wrong forum, & how do you intend on making a Diamond / Pearl hack without a second screen?
     
    Besides the touch screen flaw, there are other stuff as well

    -scripting
    It'll take years to script the game, theres alot of stuff in D/P
    eg. how will you script rock climb?

    -mapping
    Do you have tilesets for D/P?
    And I highly doubt the ROM could fit as much maps

    -Sinnoh Pokemon
    You would have to replace another Pokemon for it, which therefore, sucks.

    -New Items
    Nope, I don't think it's possible to make a new item and attach a script to it.

    If he could do it id be amazed but i agree with everyone else the D/P series NEEDS the touch screen,new items and new moves as well as the sinnoh pokes which is pretty impossible to do all of that on a GBA rom and I have yet to see a good D/P tileset aside from the one I use which Im not autorized to share.

    Ever heard of the expression 'When it's not broken, why fix it?" Please...just remake G/S/C, if anything. D/P suck in metagame.
     
    Evidently, like half of PC, he doesn't. At least he speaks some English, unlike others here...
     
    You should know ROM Hacking if you want to start a project. Also, get better ideas. Why would you remake a game for DS into a ROM with worse graphics and features? That is aside from the point that it will be impossible to include all the new stuff.

    Anyway, wrong section, but your hack needs to be approved in the Emulation section, so I'll close it. Post it there again if you want to continue.
