WARNING: This page has lots of graphics.

I was searching the internet and what did I find? Pokemon Diamond? Gameboy Color? I had to check this out. And then post on the internet.

Here's a nice picture of the apparent box art of the game. Something odd about the GS logo.

And so, I started the game.

The title screen, "Pokemon diamond", showed first, oddly enough. The pokemon pictured on the front of the game was on a blue background.
    Anyway, then the intro started.

    Who's that guy? Classical Antagonist.

    Is he... on his phone?

[PokeCommunity.com] Pokemon Diamond GBC - With commentary

Ahh, the familiar intro pokemon battle... New pokemon... is it ALSO on a phone?

Then the intro stopped. The menu started.... The phone, I should say.

Incidentally, It won't let me set the "minutes" bit.

Well, here comes the starting intro, with the professor and the pokemon and the...
    That's not the professor!

What's that ball? And what's those electric monsters he's talking about?
[PokeCommunity.com] Pokemon Diamond GBC - With commentary

    Evidently a bomb or something.
[PokeCommunity.com] Pokemon Diamond GBC - With commentary

    :nervous: Sure.
[PokeCommunity.com] Pokemon Diamond GBC - With commentary

    ...ball. Bomberman wants the ball!
    ...and then...
[PokeCommunity.com] Pokemon Diamond GBC - With commentary

    Good for Bek!
he continues to say "It's such a surprise that..."
[PokeCommunity.com] Pokemon Diamond GBC - With commentary

:\ It's such a surprise that you have bad grammar?
At which point bomberman jumps in the air and says
[PokeCommunity.com] Pokemon Diamond GBC - With commentary

    :surprised:I thought I was bek!
then bomberman jumps in the air twice and says

[PokeCommunity.com] Pokemon Diamond GBC - With commentary

    ..."Monsters world. Is that..."
    What are these electric monsters?
    Surely not pokemon?
[PokeCommunity.com] Pokemon Diamond GBC - With commentary

Sungki? WHO ARE ALL THESE PEOPLE!?
[PokeCommunity.com] Pokemon Diamond GBC - With commentary

[PokeCommunity.com] Pokemon Diamond GBC - With commentary

"Please, Bek/miyor, come to my house...." :paranoid:
At this point, Bek/miyor, obviously spooked, runs away.

Next post, I will actually start the gameplay!

Umm..technically this isn't a Pokémon game at all. I guess we can leave it open since there can be discussion about it, but yeah, a commentary isn't necessary. :x

I've seen this before also, as with the many other gimmick versions of games they have nowadays. It's just a cop-out for some cash.

The proper name for this game is "Keitai Denjuu Telefang; Power"
A game originally released in Japan.
Some chinese bootlegger did a poor translation, and that's how it's gotten the bad reputation it has today.
The actual game itself though is very solid and fun to play, and it's very different from Pokémon.

    I have played this :D
I once downloaded it from the net when I saw this. I thought it was another pokémon game, not really, you can see it from the box. It's not like others.
I played this and got stuck somewhere.
Then I didn't play it anymore...

Hah, I've seen this. One of my friend's dad bought it for him a long time ago. We thought it was really strange and I figured out pretty quickly that it wasn't a Pokemon game.

Aww Klippy ;( can the person plz still do the commentary thing.. I really wanted to see this, as ive been interested in it for a long while. What harm can it do anyway? ;)

ummm.....yeah, Hate to break it, but this game came out about the same time as crystal. It's a bootleg thats actually pretty funny to play.

Its pretty buggy. beleive it or not, I caught a Charizard who knew surf.

Kinda makes me want to find my old game boy and play that piece of crap again.

I remember playing this game once, deep, dark memories of the confusing HP-bar, being approached by a monster at seemingly random times, an attack literally called "Attack", and something about curry...Hmm...

This is not a Pokemon Game.
And the commentary is not required.

I have played this before and i thought it was really funny.
Someone should get hold of a japanese copy and do a proper translation though.

Aren't there remakes of the Telefang games for GBA? You might want to look into those...

There is currently a proper fan-translation of the game at Tulunk Village, but it's not making much Progress and will probably not be as famous as the Mother 3 translation, also, did the main character say "Damn it", I thought this was a kids game *sweatdrop*......
Swearing isn't really as big of a deal in Japan as it is in the US. You should see the fan translation of FFVI. :p

I don't think Bomberman isn't in Pokémon Diamond GBC. And BTW, Pokémon Diamond is called "Telefang Power Version" in Japan.

...you revived a six month old thread to post that?
