A very well written creepypasta. There is a debate on whether this game exists. It actually handles death concepts well. But what I like most about it is the pressure thinking whether its real or not. It could. You could bootleg any old game and slap it right in a flea market. I believe it exists, do you?

I don't mean to sound rude, but perhaps you could post a link in the OP? So that people might be able to discuss what you are talking about, for future reference :P .

I did some research into it, because I had never heard of the creepypasta before. After having read it, I'll admit that it somewhat had shivers fall down my spine. But in my opinion, it was nothing compared to the following; *Note, these are Youtube videos of someone reading the stories*

    - Snow on Mount Silver

This one essentially involves a cursed Silver cartridge, in which the player has a battle to the death with the one, the only; Pokemon Master Trainer Red.

    - Lavender Town Syndrome

We can all agree that while it has been hype up a bit, Lavender Town's music sent chills down our spines as kids. This story addresses just that, the fictional effects it has on kids.

    - Pokemon Lost Silver

This one is completely bogus, as were the top couple. But the way it sends you the Unknown messages, the eerie silence of the game. It gets to you.

So while Pokemon Creepy Black is definitely a spine tingler, I have to say that the ones I linked above were vastly more spooky, in my opinion.

Here's the creepypasta mentioned in the OP: https://creepypasta.wikia.com/wiki/Pokémon_Creepy_Black_on_Nintendo

I don't see how it explains death concepts. I don't mean to be rude but have you read the creepypasta at all? You hit the flea market thing spot on but there was no death indicated in there, perhaps some sort of "soul eating" but surely, not death. It doesn't even involve Pokemon aside from the people playing the game.

That aside, creepypastas shouldn't be taken as facts. Their basis was the various glitches found in every game. Many a programmer knows that you simply can't avoid glitches, some maybe unnoticeable but they're there. If you think programmers purposefully created a glitch...well let's just say they don't.

As for the bootleg game, whether it exists or not: I'm pretty sure some high hat out there already created one. I doubt it would conjure similar effects but hey, it looks like it ergo it must be like it, yes?

****, why did I click this link. Now I won't be able to sleep tonight... Thanks guys.

Yeah, I can only blame myself but man, I know it's not real, but it's just one of those things that really scare me for trivial reasons.

I don't think it's very creepy at all :p The "creepy black" creepypasta. The lavender syndrome is much worse in that case, like Shad0wChas3r said.

As for their chance of being real, there is probably someone who has tried to make a hack that mimics or illustrates these stories, but I don't believe for a second that their out-of-game effects are real. Such as a shriek being heard after seeing the ghost in creepy black. Nah.

Wait, this is old... I don't actually think people believed it anymore. I think there's a bigger creep in the official games: The Lavender Town music. If any Kanto creepypasta deserves to be served, it's that. It's... well... creepy. And gets onto your bones quickly. Luckily I got used to it.

Even if it did exist, it's no big deal. But the outside world effects are purely fictional, I believe.

The story itself was rather intriguing, the writer must have thought well before writing.

But let's all agree not to trust creepypastas and rely off canons, alright?

    I've read quite a lot of creepy pastas but this seemed incomplete it was missing something I've read the lavender syndrome and Ashs coma they were bigger and scary but neverthaless Pokemon Creepy black seems way more scary Thanks A lot i can't sleep tonight :( :( :( :( ;-;

I've heard this creepypasta before. Like every other creepypasta, It's obviously not real, but they can make for a good read. I've also seen a few FireRed hacks attempting to recreate the game, though they of course came into existence after the creepypasta was written. The out of game effects are obviously made up. Oh wait... what's that shadowy figure hovering over me... oh no..... AAAAAAAAGH!!!! Just kidding. :7:
