Something like Pokemon Vs. Digimon in the same since of Marvel Vs. Capcom, Would you play a Pokemon crossover game like that?

It would be great if there was an crossover anime for it, but Pokemon is owned by Nintendo and Digimon is owned by Bandai Namco, and i'm not sure if crossover would be made for it until the two companies partner up and start making it.

I rather play a DB pokemon crossover, but thanks for the offer

    I agree with everyone here.

We need it but mostly to make fans of both series to stop arguing with each other

Yes, I would, but the likelihood of it ever happening is pretty much never, so.

    You can't say never.

There's always a chance it will happen

I think a good idea for this would run somewhere along the lines of being brought into a pokemon game itself and realising the world is real. Perhaps then later we could have something happen where we "break" into the other world, where digimon would be. But ofcourse they would all have to act as according to original rules, with a few exceptions. This is where things get interesting because we could do something like a digimon fusion. Ofcourse pikachu cant battle a full grown leomon, but perhaps we could have something from the digital world enhance pikachu for example? Like a special gear, or perhaps even a literal fusion with something like veemon? Thats how I would see this concept working.
Or even better, maybe pikachu can handle itself against small digimon but has to fuse to fight the big guys, just like digimon evolve. Except pikachu must fuse because ash would never let it evolve lmao.
Jokes aside I see that as a good concept. Give the pokemon temporary "digital upgrades" so they can fight alongside with evolved digimon.
We could take it even further, lets say that we go with the gear concept. Different types of gears can create different effects, instead of having one special gear being used for one special evolution.
If we go the route of maybe using actual fusion that would be slightly complicated but doable. You would have to own two of the poke/digimon you use, and since this is digimon you should be able to collect them, perhaps even via cards. Which is a freaking awesome concept as well.

I say the best idea would be to find a balance between two seperate concepts I mentioned and actually go from there.

I'd say in a crossover they'd need to have typings allocated. For example:

Agumon's line would be Fire type. Metal Greymon and War Greymon would be Fire/Steel, Skull Greymon would be Fire/Dark.
Gomamon's line would be Water type. Zudomon (who has Thor's Mjolnir) would have a secondary electric type, but Vikemon would be Water/Ice instead.
Patamon and Gatomon would be Normal type, gaining Fairy when they become Angemon and Angewomon.
Veemon's line is Dragon type, and Wormmon's line Bug type.

And so on. The Crests and Digi-Eggs would become held items. Having them would allow you to activate their Ultimate/Mega and Armor evolutions. It would work the exact same way as a Pokemon's Mega Evolution.

The plot could be that you're trying to defeat a virus that invaded the Pokemon Storage System, which transforms into a Digiworld. As a result, you wouldn't use Pokeballs. Both Pokemon and Digimon would be captured the same way as in the Digimon World DS games - collecting biodata with every enemy encounter. Encounter a mon enough times, you can create your own. Stats would be the standard Pokemon ones. Instead of stat boosting medicine, you'd be able to find equipment for the mons to use (weapons, armour) - another element from the Digimon games.

Certain Pokemon could have different evolution methods than usual. For example, a consumable item that activates DNA Digivolving could also trigger the Slowpoke evolution to Snowbro - it would merge with Shellder as mentioned in it's Pokedex description. Likewise, multiple Magnemite could merge to form Magneton.
