I posted this topic here for 2 reasons.

    1) After looking at 80/90s commercials on Youtube, I remembered back in the day that I had a certain Pokemon toy, but I don't have a picture of it. I've posted an artists rendering (made by me) of what the toy looked like. It had a small red button on the front that, when presses, played the Pokemon theme song, or at least a clip of it. If anyone could post an actual picture of the toy or knows what it was called, I'd greatly appreciate it.

    2) What Pokemon products did you have in the 90s.

I rarely come to the PC anymore, so I think it'd be nice if one of the next couple of posters could make a master list of Pokemon products, in case anyone wanted it.

    Thank you!

I have that old Horsea Pokeball keychain... (it's GOTTA be 90s! it's HORSEA! and the box has Misty Ash and Brock in the old looks on it!)

Y-you are aware they're still mass-producing Pokemon toys, products, and media, right? :( A master list just of what's still being released today is near-impossible to create, let alone products from the 90s and early 00s. @_@

At any rate, I don't see your render of the toy but sounds kind of like the Charmander alarm clock I have. n_n; Had a Charmander on top of "grass" with a small LED clock and when you pressed this little red button, it'd say a few Charmander phrases or the "Gotta Catch 'Em All!" theme. (Picture of it here, it's beside the Bulbasaur in the back.) I know they made similar ones with Pikachu, Squirtle, and some were motion sensors or other things, I think. :( It's the only item that comes to mind from your description.

    I had a pikachu alarm clock =)

it work me up in time to see pokemon every morning

That looks so cute, and it's very very close to what I was describing. But mine had a Pikachu, and I don't remember any alarm clock feature on it. It just had a button playing the theme song. And maybe some of Pikachu's sayings.

Anyway, I uploaded my new rendering. I was half asleep and I thought I uploaded it. So I recycle binned it.

When I said a master list, I meant just a list of the old 90s stuff. It'd be nice to see what products we had back in the day. ...Like the Pokedex. I wish I still had that.

I had the pencil tops of some of them. I actually like the main figures of today better since they can actually move their arms and legs and head.

Ah, yeah, what you had was definitely in the same set as my Charmander clock. :) It was either a motion sensor or... maybe they came in other varieties. But same general idea; I've seen your Pikachu thing around before.

Anyway, there were a tooon of products from way back when. Pretty much anything you can think of, really. My favourites would have to be the Pocket Pikachu and Pocket Pikachu 2. :3

Ahhhh, the Pocket Pikachus. ;~; I remember those so much. -misses her Pocket Pikachu now-.

Anyways, I sadly don't have much in the ways of '90s Pokemon stuff. But I do have a Pikachu Calculator/Alarm Clock that served as well.. my alarm clock when I was little. XD I still remember hearing 'PIKACHU PIKACHU PIKACHU PIKACHU' in the morning and going 'be quiet Pikachu. D:'

I guess I also had my lil' Pikachu backpack as well~ ♥

Omg i just relised that the picture is of the alarm clock i used to have =O

Well... maybe it did have a clock. I had it such a long time ago, I can't remember clearly what it looked like. *missesit* The 90s toys were so fun. I remember I had the Pokemon Ball Blasters. I never had a pocket Pikachu.

I still have my Generation I PokeDex (and a Pikachu plushie from the same year).

...I think at one point I had a wind-up Porygon toy, but that was long ago. I also have a Lapras Gluestick!

I have that poster. Also have the one of Ash where he's throwing a Pokeball, and the three Kanto starters with Pikachu are placed around the Pokemon logo.

I have a lot of 90's Pokemon toys. I'm really not sure what would count as a 90's toy and an early 00's toy, since the years kind of blur together in my mind. But I have a lot of the early plushies, the Pokemon Pikachu pedometer (I need to change the batteries in mine), statues, talking toys (statues and the Pokedex), and marbles. I just remembered my Meowth pouch for my small collection of Pokemon marbles. I'm sure that there were a lot more. Like those miniature Pokemon playsets that could fit in one's pocket.

There's really even more than just the toys from the older days. I remember the food products and stationary supplies that there used to be.

I have/had a bunch of unofficial Pokemon toys from way back. Got em in (NYC) Chinatown... There were a buncha mini figurines... about 1cm high... and I remember a... Clefairy, I think, wind up toy I had.

I had a Pokemon Pikachu. And the original Pokedex... you know, the one that opens like a book and is called Dexter........ XD the red thing. lol

I have some Ash, Misty, and Brock figures. maybe they are around 6-7 inches tall?? XD

    All this stuff I got like... when I was 4 or 5 or something... (I'm 16 now)... so I don't really know if I still have any of it or not. XD (especially since my family moved when I was 10 and there are STILL unopened boxes from then) 0.o;;

I believe the oldest stuff I have are the 2 Pokemon VHS', Pikachu Toy (Its wings split in to, so it looks like wings now), and a Pokemon T-Shirt. All of these were from when I was 7, I think. The shirt still fits me. :D

Does anyone else remember those Burger King Pokeball toys that were recalled?
