Pokeball colour scheme/matching

Does anyone here catch pokemon with different pokeballs, other than the regular one,
to colour co-ordinate or look hip/trendy? When you line up your pokemon.

It was a fad a while back, but IDK if it still goes on...
I would be very keen to know what PC members think of this?

I've always loved the look of Great Balls, so I try to use them as often as possible. Of course, that doesn't always work out, so I have no aversions to using Ultra or Master. But you'll definitely see several Great Balls.

I usually make mine ultra/great and masterball
if not, net ball or nest ball.

I do mainly use Quick Balls and Dusk Balls for their convenience, but when I catch Emolga I do have a tendency to catch it in an Ultra Ball, because it matches the colour scheme. Same could be said for Marill in a Great Ball.

I usually use Ultra or Quick Balls but I try to keep a stock of as many different Balls as possible, because I like to try to colour-coordinate. The best example IMO is Tentacool/Tentacruel in a Great Ball, they're almost identical, practically made for each other. :D

I mostly do this for shinies. I always try to catch them in Premier Balls or whatever ball I think matches that shiny's color.

I always try to use Luxury Balls I like the way they look and the sparkle they give off when thrown

I used to always attempt to catch Pokemon with regular Pokeballs because it wasn't often you saw other types of Pokeballs in the anime. I finally got over this habit and began trying to match the color or theme of my Pokemon, but I still try my best to catch Legendaries with regular Pokeballs... Idk why. I guess I just feel lucky when it finally works.

For my in-game team, I don't tend to worry about it, but when I breed, I try to breed Pokemon with matching or interesting/rare balls. I really like dive balls for water types, as well as several of the apricorn balls (moon balls are my favorites).

If I encounter a shiny that can't run away or blow itself up, I will look through my inventory for the best possible ball to catch it with. If all else fails, I generally resort to dusk balls, though, as I almost always play at night.

For me, it's the regular old Poke Ball; I love the simplicity and color of it.

I used to like everything to be in regular Pokeballs but now that all the other nifty looking balls can be passed down through breeding I've been mixing it up. I hope there are new balls in Sun and Moon. I want all the colours. Especially purple.
