Pokémon Trivia
We're back for another season of Pokémon Trivia made to make your Mind Blown. Can you beat this gauntlet set up by some of the GT's most nefarious goblins? You thought the Pokéathlon was tough? Wait until you see the herculean tasks we are about to put you through.
All the trivia, all the Pokémon. If you're still wanting to see anything Pokémon once the event has finished, then we've failed. That's how confident we are that this huge quiz is going to stump you.
With that out of the way, make sure you've got all the Full Restores you can carry, your EVs are perfect and your movesets polished - it's time to battle!
The Event
Each day, we will have a round of trivia which could be on any number of categories within the sphere of all things Pokémon. We will be asking a variety of questions, with rounds consisting of the following:10 x Trivia Questions
10 x Music Questions
On Sunday 21st July, we will be hosting our Super Sunday event! This will feature a fair few things outside of the normal trivia and as a result, we will be allowing teams 3 days to tackle this and send in their answers.
Points
Points will be as follows:1st place: 150 Points
2nd place: 100 Points
Achievements
Achievements are finally in this year, because for some reason they haven't been the past few times we've done this?! Same as all the other Achievements, these are awarded to whoever gets them first!Skill Link: Score at least 70% in 5 rounds in a row - 15 Points
Soundproof: Score 100% in all music rounds - 20 Points
Mind Blown: Score 100% across the whole event - 50 Points
Calm Mind: Score 100% in all Trivia rounds - 20 Points
Intrepid Sword: Score 80% on average across the whole event - 20 Points
Locked-On: Score 100% in a round - 5 Points
Lastly...
Same as all Trivia events - no cheating! We've picked things that cover a range of difficulties, so hopefully there should be something for everyone. As always, feel free to look up something if you are just confirming a name etc. but do not start just using Bulbapedia, Wikipedia or any other sources of information (yes, even sheets you have put together for other purposes) willy-nilly. If you know it's something from a Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game and that's it, that does not allow you to just start diving into PMD wikis just to find the answer! As there are 3 hosts this year, we have created a Google Sheet for both teams to submit their answers to. This is to avoid teams having to message three people the answers and therefore eliminate stress a little bit. That said, you still need to make sure these are updated by 00:00 UTC+1/19:00 EST each day. We will be checking them at this time and using whatever is submitted there, so if it is not up to date then that is on you as a team for not looking after it!
Any questions, just contact either myself, 5qwerty or Coolkid575.
