Premise:

For those who don't know it already, the western versions of Red and Blue don't quite match the original releases. For more information, read the changes below:

Spoiler:

Intro:

- Changed Gengar and Jigglypuff in Gengar and Nidorino
- Added delay before fading to title screen
- Changed the sounds of the Nidorino leaps

Title screen:

- Copyright
- Logo scrolling is horizontal
- Versione Verde in the title screen
- Coords of trainer Red in the titlescreen

Intro OAK:

- Default names are ROSSO and VERDE instead of ROSSO and BLU

Text:

- removed censorships (drunk man, praying man in museum,buddhist altars,diaries, hiker on shrooms...)
- Other texts edited: (a fan of Haunter at Celadon Market, Miracle Cycle, Kanto reference...)
- Dex entries written from Fire Red, with Ponyta's slightly changed to reference Eiffel Tower
- Version name in the credits changed from Blu to Verde

Graphics:

- SGB Border replaced
- Slot GFX replaced
- Palettes replaced with those of JP Green
- Gym leaders name are now visible in the badge screen
- Original sprites from Green reinserted, including the original fossils sprites at the Museum
- Overworld tiles changed to match Green

Engine:

- Restored GAME FREAK PRESENTS in Intro
- Changed sprite in a house of Vermillion City, with the sprite of a gentleman
- Changed cry of a un Nidoran M in a house in Pewter City, with Nidoran F (Green only)
- Bugs from JP versions are now available, including Dokokashira warping, surfing from a cliff, winning a badge from Sabrina even when you are defeated, Select Glitches , and Card key glitch where you destroy the walls instead of the door
- Restored white flowers in overworld
- Restored Old Man Glitch at Cinnabar Coast (fixed in the original Italian)
- Stabilised 4 Missing no and their dex entries

Maps:

- Restored Mewtwo's coords in Cerulean Cave
- Restored coords of hidden items of Green JAP
- Restored Unknown Cave JP layout

In-Game trades:

- Swapped trade of Nidoran M x Nidoran F

Sound effects:

- intro and save sounds restored to match JP Red for Red, and JP Green for the green hack
