Alright, now I don't know if it's just me but when I was first going through my Pokemon Black game I found them quite easy. Pinwheel Forest & Lostlorn Forest both basically gave me 10 of each on the ground shaking spots.

Now that I have finished the game (meaning defeated the elite four and N) I have went back to capture some more in hopes of capturing good Nature elemental monkeys. What in turn happened was me going through a little over 90 ground shaking spots with no sign of a single Pan-anything!! Its either the monkeys have left my game and gathered around mankeys cabin to watch the new rise of the planet of the apes, or that I am extremely un-lucky.

Now with that I leave with two questions.

    1) Has anyone experienced the games difficulty gone up after completion? If so what is it?
    2) Which of the 3 monkeys do you like the most?

....Panpour with SCALD for the win ;)

Well, you could've gotten one of the elemental monkeys from the Dreamyard for starters.

Anyway, what I found the most challenging post-game were trying to catch Kyurem, exploring the Undersea Ruins (because I wanted more money) and the Elite 4 rematches.

The elemental monkey I like most is Panpour, even though I never actually used it, because it learns useful moves. Pansage comes in close and Pansear is outright terrible when you first get it.

While I don't mind a thread on what people found the hardest post-game, this thread just seems to go in all directions. I was considering just editing out all monkey references, but it'd seem kinda irrelevant to the question at hand (we also have a thread on those three, where people have been stating their favourites if they even used them right here).

Either way, if you'd like to make a thread just on the post-game difficulty in general, then by all means go ahead, but as it is, this thread is kinda confusing to work with. Plus, the appearance rate has nothing to do with post-game, they have a low percentage as far as catch rate goes (10%) anyway. :(
