Palkia = Star Wars Creature??? :S

    Today me and my cousin were playing smash bros. brawl and when fighting on spear pillar we realised that the noise palkia makes was familiar. Turned out it was a similar noise to the on a boga makes in star wars ep 3 (a boga is the green thing obi-wan rides before facing general grieves)

    Is it the same noise

    Nope, they sound alike, but they have nothing in common. The Boga makes a sound much like a Velociraptor's, a high-pitched cry that echoes through their skull, creating the sound you think you hear in Palkia's cry, which is, in my opinion, space distorting.

    Good ear though, never realized the similarity.
     
    Yea, I noticed that a lot, and how Dialga uses the generic movie monster voice (and when It's screaming, it resembles the death cry of an Infernal from the Warcraft series.)
     
    If you slow the cry for Dia/'kia down, there's a bit of a musical quality to them, as there is in Arceus, but not in Giratina. Whether or not that means anything? It might.

    I remember reading somewhere that the noise of giratina is actually a noise from some old film but i can't remember which.
     
    Without the vocals, Palkia is more resemblant to a Rancor than a Utapau dragonlizard. im a starwars geek. its hilarious
     
    Im not sure i haven't played Super Smash Bros. Bawl in along time but i love Star Wars.

    And back on topic, I remember hearing that Palkia's and Dialga's cry (and possibly Giratina's) are from Godzilla.
