Hey, not sure if I'm posting this in the right place (let me know and I'll relocate it)..... but I have a Lunala GX #141/149 2017 Sun & Moon Set card, but it has NO name. "Lunala" isn't in the location (to the left of "GX") where it is on every other Lunala card I've seen. I'm attaching a picture so you can see. I'm new to Pokemon so I'm just wondering what this is about. Is it a misprint? Any value ideas? Thanks for any help.

It's most likely fake. Misprints like that are so, so rare in newer sets. I follow rare and misprint cards and there's almost no information on this. An error of that magnitude would be up there with the misprint Ninetales, not a well kept secret.

Did you pull it from a booster pack? Did it come from a trusted source? Where did you get the pack from? Even big businesses like Walmart and Target get counterfeit merch.

This is 100% a counterfeit/fake, and the fonts are the biggest tell for me. Not a doubt in my mind.

Oh, and how thick the border is. And how saturated the colors are. And the lack of visible texture for a full art. The vast majority of full art Pokemon cards have a raised texture that you can sort of see in pictures. And the extremely thick border.

Here's the Lunala GX card it's a counterfeit of for comparison:

Since this is an official image, it does not include the texture as it was likely pulled straight from The Pokemon Company's master images that are used when printing onto the cards.

Also, notice how light the purple area on the official card is? And how much thinner the silver border is on the official card?

Hopefully this rundown helps you spot counterfeits in the future.
