    Let's hear some nicknames!

    I'm just going off memory for these...
    As you can see, I'm very random. Also, some of these are inside jokes.

    BLUE:
    Trainer: GENGAR
    Rival: Ketchup

    RED:
    Trainer: ROBOCOP
    Rival: Idiot

    YELLOW:
    Trainer: Stu ((not my name))
    Pikachu: PORKCHOP
    Mankey: PEPSI

    SILVER:
    Rival: LONGJOHN

    RSE/FRLG:
    Raticate: Rat-A-Pult
    Grumpig: Mr. Piggs
    Blastoise: Mr. Blasty
    Snorlax: BIG MAC

    My friend had a few funny ones too...

    EEVEE: Kipperchip
    ((Can't Remember)): Plywood

    I called my:

    MUDKIP: Splashy - and another, Misu
    PIKACHU: Chou
    VAPOREON: Wavey
    PLUSLE: QT
    TORCHIC: Aichamo - the japanese way
    TREEKO: Kimori - the japanese way

    Boring stuff like that. I nickname all my pokemon, so it is kind of hard to think of good names for every single one!

    I think it's not, since your thread is on name rating, but this thread is for just showing your Pokemon nicknames.

    Alot of the time I name my Pokemon by their Japanese names, like my Bellosom on Ruby is 'Kireihana'.

    uuum, lets see if I can remember some of my Rival names and such.

    FireRed: 2004-2005
    User: Kiba
    1st Pokemon: Hige
    Rival: Tsume
    (Wolf's Rain!)

    Ruby: 2004
    User(male): Kunai
    Ist Pokemon: It was a Treeko...but I forgot what I named it. XD ^^;;

    Emerald: 2005
    User(Female): Fuu-chan (my nickname IRL)
    1st Pokemon: Edward (like Ed from Fullmetal Alchemist)
    Rival: uum...*thinks*I may have just kept it 'Brendan'.

    Yellow: 2000
    User: Ash
    Pikachu: Sparky ( or maybe I just kept it Pikachu the first time... )
    Rival: Gary

    Blue: 1999
    User: Ash
    1st Pokemon: Shellshock
    Rival: Gary
    ((That was the first time I played through Blue....but I've had other Blue files since then....because that was like....1999.... ))

    1st Pokemon: Tasuki
    Rival: ...I really don't remember....
     
    Oh man! I just have to post the nicknames that my brother gave his Pok?mon in Blue! He named them after rappers!

    Thanks! Anyway, names will sound original if you name them with names which don't sound so "cliche" (by "cliche", I mean something like "Cerberus", "Dragoon", "Flamer" etc...).

    Yes, there is a 5 word limit. Those where list of my Pokemon names translated to English. So heck, why not post the original Japanese names?

    I like to nickname all my pokemon with their name reversed. And for pokemon with multiple stages, i name them the reverse of their max stage. So i would name my charmander Drazirahc = Charizard(also only if it sounds "funky"). Just like my name Nedrag Terces(it's not a pokemon, but it's the same concept)

    Haha, oh how many Pokemon I and my friends have had in the past with names like "Wings", "Squirt", "Charmeleon", etc.

    Thankfully, we've gotten a little better now.
