New Premier Events for Organized Play! (Pokemon TCG League Challenges)

League Challenge tournaments are designed to provide players with small, entry-level events on a local scale. These events are a great way to get your feet wet in the world of Premier Events.

In the Pokémon Trading Card Game League Challenge tournaments, players in each of the three POP-recognized age divisions can work toward earning Championship Points, potentially earning an invitation to the World Championships!

The Pokémon TCG League Challenge tournaments in North America will be taking place all year long, usually at the end of each League season. To find times and locations of League Challenge events in your area, click here.

Basically, another way to earn points towards Worlds as well as earn prizes. It's an attempt by TPCi to up league attendance as well, since attendance at leagues is fairly inconsistent in many areas.

I'm not sure what you mean. This thread is some official news I've found from TPCi regarding additional tournament options for players. It merits its own thread on that basis alone.
