[Other✓] Need to change Deoxys pokedex number

I've moved Deoxys down to number 252 so that he will appear right after Celebi. But instead of him being number 252, I want his number to show up as "???". How can I do this? Nobody seems to know.

I don't mean to be annoying but can anyone help me or point me in the right direction? This is the very last thing I need to do before my hack is complete.

That's actually what I used to put Deoxys at 252. It doesn't let you edit the numbers to question marks though. I'm assuming I'd have to hex edit to change the actual image of the 252 in the pokedex to the question marks. I don't really know a ton about hex editing so I was hoping someone would know which offsets to change.

Nope, his number. As in when you're scrolling down the pokedex...it will go 249 --> 250 --> 251 --> ???.

If you set the pokedex number to a number over 1000 it will show up as the ? Followed by the last 2 numbers
Basically if you set it too 1001 it will be ?01
It will appear as the last entry in the pokedex though.
I know this doesn't do what you want but at least it will show up with a ?

Also If it is in the national dex when you do not have it it will be??? so if you edit the regular dex to contain all pokemon in your hack besides deoxys then you would have accomplished what you want.
