I have 347 unique mews all with different natures and stats on a GBA cartridge. Anyone interested or does anyone know how to save the rom of the gba cartridge and what tools i need? Thanks. I posted a youtube video of it if anyone wants to see the mews.

Hey Joska, if you're looking to somehow get your save file from a cartridge to a computer, you'll definitely need something like an Action Replay that can back up your save files. While I'm not sure of the process exactly, your best bet may be asking over in our Patching & Emulation Help Thread, though I can't guarantee you'll find the answer there. And trading from older generations isn't that easy either- you'll probably have to transfer your Pokemon from Gen 3 to 6, and that might be a tedious task for that many Mew. And in any case, any sort of hacked Pokemon being traded around here are frowned upon, and while I'm not saying its impossible, I doubt you would've been able to get that many of the same event Pokemon.

In any event, best of luck finding a way to get your save file transferred over.

I know how to copy the game pak's save file to a computer. But it involves flashcards, so I'm not sure if I'm allowed to answer this guy, as PC does not encourage nor support piracy in any ways.

The Rom version I wanted to keep for myself in case my original cartridge gets damaged or if i have to auction it off 20 yrs from now. I would love to still have a copy for myself for memory sake. I will do some research and see what tools work and ask around.

Yah I guess I'm going to have to to do it the old fashion way and transfer 6 Mew pokemon at a time to the DS then to the 3DS Pokebank, luckily i don't have to reset the game and play the whole thing for 40minutes just to do that. I thought there would be a large community of GBA owners who were still looking for a mew, but I guess i'll have to wait until pokemon 2016 convention in San Francisco, CA and hope people would like a distribution. I just feel it's such a waste to own all these authentic Mystery Mews from Toys R Us 2006 and not be able to distribute them to everyone. :(

Thanks, I will look into flash cards so that i can create a saved file for my cartridge in case if it ever gets damage. I just think its cool to use a Mew pokemon in fire red and leaf green and the Ds titles, and not be limited to using it only for Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire because Pokebank is the only way people want to trade.

Of course, you're allowed to do whatever you want with your things.

However, I'd strongly advise against sharing this .sav, as it could lead to fraudulent Mew distribution carts. If a person has the knowledge to load a save to a cartridge, they more than likely also can load it with fake Mews. I actually think the individual Mews of this TRU event were uploaded a while back somewhere else. In that case, someone can load the legitimate Mews onto the empty save. It's one thing to have the Mews available, but the save file is another. It's hard to fake a Mew distribution cart if you don't have the right save file(TID/SID, Hall of Fame time/team, etc), but if you release it, they have that potential.

I also don't think it's at all necessary to upload the .sav, considering the Mews are out there somewhere. The .sav provides nothing more than a tool for scammers to make perfect counterfeits. After all, the Mew cart is the same as any old FireRed cartridge. Fakes are super easy if you provide the save.

It's more than cool if you have a backup .sav for yourself, and I guess if you even load it onto another cartridge, as long as you aren't selling them off.

Again, you're obviously free to do what you want, but at least consider it with what I had to say. There's a big reason no one has uploaded the actual Mew .sav yet, while all the Mews are already available and Nintendo DS distribution roms are also available. It would've been done by now if it were wise.

Yes I had a long discussion about this with a friend of mine and we've both concluded it's nearly impossible to keep under control and of course the ebay scammers. Thus, I've decided not to upload the file online once I'm finish giving away all my Mews. Plus after trying to give out my Mews for free to people, I realize no one really carries, plays, or owns a pokemon GBA game anymore so the interest of getting a free Mew for that cartridge or any of the DS games is unpopular. I'm hoping that when I go to the pokemon convention in San Francisco this summer there will be more people who are interested in having a 2006 Mew.

Ah darn, I was hoping to see your 347 Mew compared against the 420 that were supposed to be on the (unused) cart. You should get into contact with the people who are doing the research on this. Best of luck at the convention!

well I still can show it to you, are you looking for a video or what exactly are you looking for from the mew cart and i can tell you.
