moveset for Rhyperior... is it ok?

    i just want opinions on my rhyperiors moveset if its ok. if not make suggestions please

    ice beam
    flamethrower
    rock wreckage
    EQ

    i dont know about its EVs so when i get the final moveset i will restart by getting a new Rhydon.

    Nonononononononononononononono. I recommend checking the pokemon's base stats b4 creating a moveset, and rhyperior is no exception. Its special attack is that of a stick, so you only want physical moves on it. Here's the CB set:

    Rhyperior@lefties
    Adamant
    252 Attack, rest in HP and defense
    ~Avalanche
    ~EQ
    ~Stone edge
    ~Mehahorn

    That is much better. It really dishes out punishment.
     
    There are 2 members viewing this thread who will most likely post the same moveset.

    The Nature would help. Adamant at best.

    Rhyperior @ Choice Band
    EV: 252 Atk/ 200 HP/ 44 Def
    -Stone Edge
    -Earthquake
    -Fire Fang
    -Thunder Fang
     
    You know there are more sets...like the substitute-SD set, though I'm used to using rhydon in 3rd gen...rhyperior has an outstanding physical movepool, use it. If you go with the CB set, it will be a pick 2 and go, the other two slots having EQ and stone edge, which it really needs.

    First rule, Hyper Beam moves really suck.
    Secondly please do NOT use Sp.Attacks on Rhyperior as it has a pitiful special attack stat.

    you got Earthquake right though.

    move 4: Substitute / Megahorn / Avalanche

    i never use Rhyperior myself so this is copy and pasted from smogon.
     
    well if ur gonna have rhyperior just go for physical attacks,its spec atk doesnt compare to its normal atk and my moves are

    Well...no. Rock wrecker kinda...well, really sucks. Stone edge>rock slide, and stats and level are irrelevant. Only EVs and nature you really need...just so you know in the future.

    EDIT: And yeah, max attack EVs, and close to max HP...if you use the substitute set, get your HP to 404 to make 101 subs for blissey...

    WTF!!!!No, use it as a physichal wall with:

    Rhyperior-Lefties
    Solid Rock
    Relaxed/Impish
    EV's:252 HP/252 DEF/6 ATK
    -Curse
    -Stealth Rock
    -EQ/Roar
    -Avalanche/Counter

    You could also use endure-reversal.
