There was a new Easter egg discovered recently in Pokémon GO which has been popularly titled the 'Missingno Egg Glitch'. The glitch causes an odd string of text to appear on your phone screen in a similar fashion to how Missingno appeared in the Generation 1 main series games; strange blocks of disordered random symbols aligned in all directions. If you haven't yet seen it, here is an image of the Easter egg taken from my boyfriend's phone:
To perform the Easter egg on an iPhone, simply click on one of your non-incubated eggs to bring up its summary page and then double-tap your 'Home' button to bring up your list of recently used apps. The strange string of text will be visible from this screen on the app's screenshot image.
Have you encountered this Easter egg before? What do you think the purpose of it is? Do you think the text has any significance to it or is a code that needs to be cracked? Do you think this glitch has anything to do with the infamous Missingno? Post your thoughts about this cool little feature!
