I'm trying to trade over some Pokemon from Sapphire and Emerald to Diamond and each time I try to trade over the pokemon it says that the Internal Clocks are diffrent and will take 24 hours to change them and when I return 24 hours later, it still wont let me migrate pokemon.

    Any suggestions/ help?

What time did you change it, and what is your current local time? It might be that you've not left it long enough, and you could just need to wait a little longer.

I left it 24 hours and I restarted Emerald today and matched it with the time on my DS and it still didnt work.

Yeah, I've beaten the Elite 4 aswell.

I've done trades before so I dont know why its not working now.

Strange.... I'll think about it and see if I can find out.

    happened to me before
if u adjusted the ds clock by even a minute you will have to wait another 24 hours and you have to have at least 6 pokemon in your box to migrate.

If you have two GBA carts try the migration trick to reset the games settings.

Diamond and Pearl have a No-Time Change Shield for this. If you cahnged the time, you'd have to wait another 24 hours.

I've never heard of anything like this. :~|

Did you synchronize your R/S/E clock with your DS/D/P one? I have no idea, really. :(

I've never altered the clock and once the 24hours is up it still doesnt work.

    Tried and it failed.

Wus6r is right, did you adjust the DS clock or anything?

I've not touched the clock until i tried what homsar is saying but it wasnt working before that.

you obviously have national dex dont u

    Yes, I do.

I haven't altered the clock and even when its been 48 hours its still the same thing

The last time I tried I made sure the clocks were same time, and it still didnt work.

Could the cartrdiges have possible had the internal clock run dry or whatever it is?

I'm really appreciating the help guys, its so annoying that its still not working.

You said you restarted Emerald. What you do is, change your DS's time to the current time, click migrate (it won't work, it'll change the game time to the DS's) and wait 24 hours. The GBA game's time doesn't matter. The internal battery shouldn't matter. I hope you get it fixed. =(

Oh, also, are you using the same DS?

I'm using the same DS, I will try it all tomorrow and let you know what happens.

I've used the same DS, regarding the clock on Emerald is says that the DS needs to alter the clock to be able to do the migration but after the 24 hours the same problem is there.

It has nothing to do with the GBA's internal cartridge. It has to do with the DS's system time. If you changed that, by even a minute, you'll have to wait another 24 hours.

If you're sure that you haven't done that, then be sure to check if there's any dust in the GBA cartridge/the DS's GBA slot, or try it in a different DS if you have one, or even your friend's.

    or...or...or...

The Pokemon you've been trying to migrate knows an HM move. :D

Also, the copy of the game might not be legit. If the GBA Game Pak is black colored, then it won't work. I've seen a lot of those.

Don't manualy change the clock to match together. Let them use the sych thing and then wait. Maybe they know HM moves like someone else said already on this thread.

He'd still be able to access the Pal Park withdrawal menu if there was a Pokémon who knew an HM move, so your second option might be the most probable one.
