    Who do you think would win? i held a long debate with people in school as to who would wina fight between Goku and Mewtwo. Goku has insane strength, but mewtwo is an almighty uber as well. Here, you can vote for who you think will win and give your reasons why. Good reasons now, not "becasue I like that character" Reasons.

    My vote would be mewtwo. Goku is strong, but Mewtwo has impenetrable psychic powers and could use his mind to torment Goku till the end.
     
    hmmm....i say Mewtwo because he's way stronger than Goku. and he's better....and he's cooler....i just like mewtwo! *hides* dont hurt me for saying that! XD

    if i was really going for who i liked the most, i would say Goku cause i LOVE DBZ! XD

    EDIT: if it was Gohan instead of Goku....then Mewtwo would die in one punch! XD gohan's my favorite character...and he's the strongest one in DBZ!
     
    Don't forget to vote. ;) I also like Goku, they both are really good characters. But I jsut don't see any attack of Goku's peircing Mewtwo's mind powers. Still, others have argued that Goku's physical strength is greater than Mewtwo's psychic strenght, so it's stil a debatable topic.

    Goku might have better physical strength...but we've never seen Mewtwo throw a punch! So we dont even know if one punch from Mewtwo can destroy the world! XDsince he IS the ulimate pokemon, he should have the ultimate physical strength AND psychic abilities and strength
     
    i`m with Mewtwo^^ I haven`t seen many DB episodes, but I think,
    Mewtwo is stronger than Goku. poor Goku :(

    I'm not so sure if even gohan can do it. remember, Mewtwo's mind powers are capable of controlling his opponent's body. PLus, any energy blast he could defelect, any physical attack would bounce of his psychic aura, he has teh ultimate defense, And if either goku and mewtwo blows up teh world, then they both die so then it would be a tie.

    And Goku is stronger than Gohan, because Goku can go super saiyan 3, and super saiyan 4 come the end of gt.
     
    Well, Mewtwo would just use some Psychics Attacks and that poor Sayian would Explode! Muhahahahahaha- cough .__.

    pfft..so..and GT dont count...GAH! GT get's me so mad! no offence, but it's really stupid! it's NOTHING like i thought it would be, when i first saw it... tsk tsk... so sad..

    BTW, gohan's still stronger XP

    anyways...mewtwo would loose to gohan..but mewtwo would kicks Goku's butt! i see someone voted for Goku...i wonder who...
     
    You all seem to forget one thing. The hero character always beats the villain, even if it involves a duck.XD But anyways,


    Goku=Hero

    Mewtwo=Villain.

    But if this rule didn't apply..


    Goku would still own the fight. And if he went super ozzaru like with baby....


    Poor Mewtwo, never had a chance.XD

    And even if then, there's SS4 goku.

    But then, NOBODY, and I mean, NOBODY can beat SS4 Gogeta.
     
    I'd say Mewtwo, Because he could just use all his powers to completely torment Goku out of his mind.
     
    That wouldn't work, because goku doesn't have a mind.It's just a vast, open canyon, with nothing in it... *Eagle cry plays*XD

He's created explosions that turn people to stone without getting so much as a scratch. Majinn Vegeta did that once, and it cost him his life. The only way Mewtwo could be defeated was if he submitted hismelf to his opponent, like in Mewtwo Returns. As long as he wishes it, Mewtwo is impenetrable.

    I didnt see Mewtwo Returns, but Majin Vegeta would be able to kill Mewtwo with the scraficing attack that he did against Majin Buu...
     
    PU tup his psychic shield, and the blast doesn't hurt him at all. Mewtwo has actualy taken an attack once. It was mew's shadow ball attack, mew, teh one who is supposedly "the ultimate pokemon" other htan mewtwo. he took it in the chest, and it dug him a grave in teh bleachers. And tehn he got up, no scratches, bruises, or bumps, and contineud fihgitng as if nothing happened.

    and not is only mewtwo strong, he has control over nature. Rememerb taht typhoon he created? He could simply humor himself by causing mother nature to turn against Goku. :D That'll keep teh saiyan busy for some time.
     
    Actually, goku's aura would easily sheild him from mother nature. And whose to say the barrier doesn't protect against ki??XD


    But anyways, like I said, if vegeta was also there, mewtwo couldn't stand a chance. And I don't mean explode. I mean "Fusion...HA!".



    And shenlong (That's the name of evil shenron, I'm pretty sure)could easily destroy mewtwo, and he was beaten to a pulp by gotgeta.


    The only problom, would be if Gotega fooled around like he did with shenlong.XD
     
    No, they were still called Shenrons. And Mewtwo could take any of their attacks, and his psychic shield could deflect any attack he wanted. Ki is no different than the energy used in a hyper beam. If your going to apply their special powers, you have to think of mewtwo's special powers too. :P

    and it's just Mewtwo vs. Goku, not mewtwo vs. Gohan or Mewtwo vs. Gogeta.

    Frankly Mewtwo owns all. He is omnipotent. he cannot be defeated, unless he wishes it.
     
    Like I said, goku's the good guy, so he'd win anyways, by penetrateing the barrier.XD
     
    Just because Goku is the good guy doesn't mean anything. This isn't a movie Bob V. Sorry, but that rule doesn't apply. Mewtwo would torture Goku through his mind before Goku could do anything. Goku is very strong, yes, but there isn't anything he can do to stop Mewtwo from controlling his mind, even if he is Ozzaru or fused as Gogeta.
