Ok then can someone give me a moveset for mew so that he will be my special sweeper.
Pax Deorum
Just suggest the easiest obtainable set ingame.
Hoping it has at least neutral on Special Attack:
Mew
-Calm Mind
-Ice Beam/Psychic
-Thunderbolt/Psychic
-Softboiled (if you can trade to FR or LG)
Reading my replies might be a good idea!
Anyway, AB, I'm pissed because half this thread is full of useless replies like this one. People here lack common sense.
Why would you link to a site that has 46436234 movesets for Mew. It will just get the person confused often leading to the use of the sets that don't work ingame, such as stalling.
Sure Mew has a lot of options but the sweeper sets don't vary that much seeing it's bound to always have Psychic, Ice Beam, Thunderbolt etc. Same thing with the Physical sweeping sets, that in Mew's case has moves like Earthquake/Shadow Ball/Focus Punch/Brick Break/Rock Slide etc. Why didn't I suggest this? First of all, Earthquake is mostly only obtainable via use of PickUp on a pokemon that must be AT LEAST level 91. Shadow Ball is a weak move compared to Mew's other unstabbed options. Focus Punch doesn't work ingame because the AI is too unpredictable and Brick Break doesn't hurt anything in special. Rock Slide is move tutor only and there are better pokemon that use it: read Rhydon.
Why did I suggest the Calm Mind set? First of all, Calm Mind is one of Mew's best options seeing it boosts its Special Attack and Special Defence allowing a better use of moves like Psychic, Surf, Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Flamethrower etc. ALL of which are more easily obtained ingame compared to his physical moves. Don't have Calm Mind? Don't worry, just use an all out sweeping set.
I used a bit of ingame knowledge that everyone has and common sense (which lacks in this thread) to conclude that that set is his best option for ingame.
