Mega Man X: Corrupted

I wouldn't be surprised if they did, considering this person is asking for money to fund a game from an established franchise without permission. I mean, donations are one they, but this isn't really okay.

On that note, considering your username and the name of the creator...is this you? This thread's technically fine, but I'd at least like to know if you're plugging your own game here.
 
I'm actually not. I thought this game was being made by JKB Games or whatever. Maybe the creator is part of that team or something.
 
I'm not sure what to think of this. I'm a huge Mega Man X fan, and this sure looks fun, but the story bothers me. It says the game takes place after the events of X5, which was very important in the cannon series, so, if well made, it could be very interesting, but it could also ruin the original story. I know it's a fan game and it doesn't count, but still, I wouldn't enjoy playing it in that case.
And I agree with machomuu about the funding. IMO it'd be better if the creators of this change the sprites and make an original game in the style of Mega Man X. In that case, it'd be okay to ask for money to fund the game, they wouldn't have to worry about the game perfectly fitting into the story & they'd get the opportunity to introduce their original characters.
 
JKB Games is not affiliated with this. The JKB leader has been contacted and has called for followers of his fan project to report. The KS project creator is a scammer; he's even using the name of a Canadian hockey player.
 
Sucks that its a scammer... Would have been awesome to get the game earlier than anticipated. Oh well. Things happen I guess. There will always be ppl like that in the world...
 
We were trolled... And yet another Mega Man game was canceled... Even the fans cancel Megaman.
