    Just a tip: don't the center and bullet bbcodes at the same time, it doesn't look good.

    How come you want to PM everyone participating? Can't just post the link in the thread? I don't see a problem with it, just wondering.
     
    This is more of a personal preference thing, but I thought I should share anyhow--to me, instead of making things completely black and white, it looks a lot easier on the eye if they were toned up slightly. So, if I were you, I'd change background color #111111, and swap text and border colors with #eeeeee, rather than #ffffff. It's all up to you if you actually want to make these changes or not, though; this is just a suggestion!

    I can talk to him about a volunteer thread, though I'm not sure there's a whole lot of time left for that. The only people that can see this forum right now, as you know, are other Event Hosts so it's probably best you scout outside this section for potential hosts.

    I could also help host a few games. I'm GMT+8, and you and wolf are pretty much close to each other in regards to time zone, so I should cover at least part of what you can't :p
     
    Oh whoops, forgot to mention my time zone. It's EDT (UTC -4).

    Re: score limit: I don't think it should go any higher than 8 unless you want the games to be very long. I generally prefer ~6 because that makes each game last around 20 minutes most of the time. Of course, it depends on how many people are playing, but 6-8 is the sweet spot.

    Regarding the card sets, I suggest going with the sort of stuff that everyone will understand. e.g. 1-3 Versions, 1-4 and Box Expansions, Very Serious, and occasionally a few others when you want to spice things up. Word of advice: too many card sets can ruin a game. :P

    I don't think we need to strictly follow any guidelines, just keep them in mind.
     
    Should the winner emblem be for winning multiple games (maybe 3)? Seems like a bunch of people will be getting the participant emblem already and a bunch would also get the winner emblem...

    Or does it make sense to just do it the other way? I might be thinking a bit queer.
