Macho Brace... WTF

    I finally got myself the the Macho Brace(a female Combee was difficult to come by) and equiped it to my newly hatched Adamant natures/Likes to Run personality Dratini in hopes of a Pokemon that will put my rival's to shame. I raised it to Lv. 73, where I got frustrated and used my accumulated Rare Candies to finish the rest of the way. Then I looked at his stats and felt thrilled! They looked good! Attack Ev's are at 345 and Hp is 343, so I compare them to his father, another Dragonite(Cleverly nicknamed Knight) and my heart dropped. Father's Attack Ev's were 339 with no Nature/Personality to facilite Attack growth. How significantly is the Macho Brace supposed to facilitate growth?
     
    Macho brace only hopes Ev training not rare candying.
     
    Eww Try finding an emerald Ev training sheet. Cos maybe you didnt get any good evs in attack and hp
     
    Macho Brace "facilitates growth" by doubling the EVs you get when you EV train. If you just haphazardly ran around killing stuff rather than EV train then the stats won't be as high as you like. Chances are you ended up killing more +attack mobs on the father Dragonite than on the other one, or the IVs are better, or something to do with the natures.
     
    EVs =/= Stats.

    You do realize that it's impossible to have more than 255 EVs in a single stat unless you hacked in some way?

    She's right though. Anyway, this could have been asked in the DPPt Q&A. I'm fairly sure there's one, seeing how everyone at some point has a question about on of those games. And you got your answer anyway.
