4th Gen Little blue Pokeball next to Pokemon icon?

    A friend traded me a Torchic egg, and when it hatched it had a little blue Pokeball next to the picture of it. I don't know what it could be, but it looks suspicious. Does anyone have any insight on this anomaly?

    And what does that mean exactly? Now I can't deposit it in the box... @_@

    From what I've heard in Gamefaq's "Dangers of wifi trading", a pokemon with a blue pokeball means it is corrupted.

    EDIT: It's in a ball capsule. You have to remove the seal by going to your PC.

    Alright, I'll give it a try. What do I do with it in my PC?

    You gave to get to the PC, log on "your PC", choose "Ball Capsules" and you'll see a simple menu. You'll see your Torchic at the top left. Click it, select remove or whatever it says, and you're done. Ball capsules are simply a way of getting your Pokémon's Pokéball doing little effects whenever a battle starts, such as bubbless of letters popping out etc.

    I have the Japanese Diamond, so it's somewhat hard to figure it out. I found the Ball Capsule thing, but I still can't get rid of the Ball Capsule next to the Torchic. Should I go to the city where the Ball Capsule thing is at?

    That won't make a difference.

    But why can't you get rid of it? What happens when you click "remove?" Normally, that removes the Ball Capsule and then you can put the Pokemon in the PC.

    I don't know how to remove it. Now when I battle with it, (it's actually a Blaziken now, it was a Torchic when I hatched it) it disconnects me from battles!

    I have the Japanese version, so I don't know what everything says....

    At any PC, choose the 2nd option which is your PC. Then choose the 2nd option in that menu, which is "Ball Capsules." You should now be at a screen with 12 pokeballs. Find the one with a piplup icon in the corner and click on it, and choose the 1st option which would be "Remove." I hope this helps. Ask me to clarify if something wasn't clear.

    OffRoadSP has given perfect instructions, as for the disconnections, I think there might be a problem with your game or something else like the Torchic was hacked.
