You can get whichever one you don't choose after you beat the E4, but only in emerald. =P Go to the fossil maniacs house, in the cave with all the ditto, the other fossil is at the end =D
 
which fossil is which? I want to pick anorith but I dont know which is which.
 
Root Fossil = Lileep
Claw Fossil = Anorith

The one that is better depends on what you are looking for. Cradily is a solid defensive Poke while Armaldo is a strong physical sweeper. Basically it all depends on the rest of your team.
 
Don't forget, Cradily is also an awesome Cursepass recipient since it can't be phazed, so with support it can sweep too. :3

But yeah, if you want quick sweeping then Armaldo, if you need a spongy type then Cradily.
 
I like Lileep better because its kind of like the torchering type, well I gave mines (this is when it was a cradily)

Well, in Emerald you can get both, but...For the ones who have R/S, I'll tell them I prefer Anorith ^^

I think that all depends on your luck. I found Mirage Tower the first time I went to Route 111.
(I think I'm just lucky in my game. I caught my Sandshrew in there, which caught Pokerus the first time I took it out. :D)
 
Anorith is amazing. Why would you wanna pokemon with corn rows like Lileep?

Anorith is alright, but Bug/Rock is one of the worst typing I've ever seen. It almost cancels out any 'not very effective' hits he may get and nearly ruins some of the benefits of a rock typing. Too many weaknesses and not enough defense, if you ask me. Rock/Grass isnt too much better, but Rock/Bug takes the cake in this situation. And Lileep has some wicked defenses (both normal and special), so the choice is obvious for me.

If I had to choose one... it'd be Lileep.
Because Cradily looks like a Venus Fly Trap... how can you beat that??
 
Perhaps this should be in the "simple questions" thread, I really don't know. It is a topic-specific question, though, so I thought I'd try asking it here first.

Where exactly do you get your Lileep(I chose the Root Fossil). I've had my fossil forever, and I just arrived at the Abandoned Ship, so I'm hoping I didn't miss something. Who do I give it to? I'm just feeling kinda concerned that I missed something.
 
It should be asked there, but I will cover it anyway.

Once you have the fossil, you can take it to the second floor of the Devon Corporation in Rustboro. One of the researchers there (closest to the stairs, iirc) will evolve it for you, similar to the process in FRLG. Give it to him to run around for a bit and then get your new Poke.
 
Lileep, Definitely. Cradily may be ugly but he is a solid tank/annoyer. I use him. :) Armaldo is OK but there are many better physical sweepers out there.
 
Yeah,it really depends on the rest of your team.Armaldo as a physical sweeper does well with Ancientpower,Toxic and Slash,Cradily as a tank is good with Amnesia,Confuse Ray and Ingrain/Giga Drain.
