Lightningrod

I think the ability draws all the electricity to the pokemon making the attack uneffective

What it just does is draws all the electrical attacks towards it, but the attacks still deal damage.

Kinda like a "Follow Me" for electrical attacks.

Actually, I meant this: What would it do in a real-time situation? If the attacks and the Pokémon were real. Does it draw the electricity only or both the charging Pokémon and the electricity?

Like as if it was in the anime? I'd assume it'd charge it up as well as drawing it.

In a real life situation, a physical assualt from something on another wouldn't really be affected by a special ability like Lightningrod. Example, thunder fang, even though an electric attack is still a form of biting, so even though the electricity would be drawn to a Pokemon with Lightningrod, the creature would still be able to bite the enemy and cause some kind of damage.

That's just the way I thought it would work though...

It could like, pull the attacker towards it though... like a magnet and make the attack go towards the Pokemon with Lightning Rod.
