Lapras moveset

    What is a good move set for lapras...so far:

    Lapras@lum berry
    Evs +++speed, +sp atk
    Ice beam (best move ever =})
    body slam/psychic
    confuse ray
    perish song(want to replace)


    some one help me out here...thanx
     
    um... for Lapras it's quite preferred that you got the team. Too flexible to give a moveset unlike Butterfree who has to have one certain moveset with very little changes. There's sponging Lapras, annoying lapras, special sweeping lapras and even physical ones with dragon dance.
     
    I dont want a anoying one...and im not sure wat a sponging one is...i want him to be an attacker....if theres nothing you can do with it its okay....thanks any way
     
    Sponge is like tanking lapras... well for special sweeping I guess...

    Lapras- [sp.atk + / atk -] @ chesto/leftovers
    EV: sp.atk, hp, sp.def or def
    -chesto rest/protect
    -<insert 3 special attack here>

    Special attack includes: surf, ice beam, psychic, HP Grass

    Still not the best Lapras can do due to the lack of info... =/ Lapras as a pseudohazer works so well too for another possible role, evil together with Skarmory/Forretress.
     
    What is a pseudohazer? I no I should be using simple questions but these but it just seams easier to ask here...wat other info due you need..ill give you as much as i can

    um... refer to the ATG? (Advanced Trainer's Guide) Take your time to read through it. Though somethings are outdated, a lot of it will apply. And if the length is scaring you off... well... the help is there, but it's just up to you to take it or not.

    (ok ok I will update the ATG SOMEDAY >>)

    Prefer to post it with at least...
    -what resources do you have (having both RS, or just S, with Colosseum or not and etc)
    -willing to redo the entire moveset if necessary, including breeding moves?
    -what's the other team members on your team with Lapras? What's their role?

    That's minimum... preferably a RMT of course =)
     
    The other members of my team are dragonair-attacker/annoyer charizard-attacher butterfree-annoyer/attacker and my lapras....yea i would redo my entire moveset...i have sapphire only...but if needed i coudl get ruby


    were is the ATG? And what is RMT?

    I never really got a moveset...can tell me wat u need to know so you can decide the best one?
     
    Its for the moveset?...I dont understand how I can get a moveset out of it
     
    certainly won't tell you a moveset, but teaches you HOW to make your OWN moveset... to at least give you a general direction to...
     
    listen man, Lapras has very high HP and special attack so teach it moves it can benefit from power ups, Ice Beam, Surf, Sing and Body Slam so that way if your lapras faints then you know it was meant to be that way
     
    um...for lapras I guess a good move set at least the one i'm using
    mine as a thunder dancer

    well kind of , I don't know if it can learn thunder but I got lucky after
    lots of breeding I got one with HP - electric

    I have
    Lapras (water absorb)
    modest-EV's 255 sp.atk 140 hp 120 spd
    surf
    ice beam
    rain dance
    HP- electric

    I think that's good for a lapras
    I don't have the thunder TM yet but if it can learn it
    lapras makes a good thunder dancer
