There needs to be a way to confirm this, this has bothered me for the longest time. Almost to the point of writing a letter to the makes of both characters and having them settle it. I see the likeness. I think they have the piggyback effect for sure. I love it. I like to see POKE things in the real world. and EVEN more so in the Video game world. I think there should be a game linking POKE vs MortalKOMBat but thats a whole nother cup of kool aid
