    Has anyone seen/read the show/manga?
    The manga is available in the US as Sgt. Frog and both in the UK and US, the show will premiere sometime in 2009.
    If you have not heard of it/too ignorant too care dont bother posting here.

    Well my fav character is Tamama, which ive sold my jealous soul to.
    Kururu/Dororo either one they are my second fav.
     
    Oh, I've watched it, though only the first season...

    My favorite is Dororo, very funny, though sometimes I think some jokes are meant for older viewers, erm, I don't mean the panty shots, Like Episode 5.
     
    I adore this series, manga more than anime, but the latter does have some moments (ie. the first invasion). There's also a lot of references of the series in other anime and manga, not to mention the hordes of doujinshis. Popular in Japan is probably an understatement. xP

    I actually used to go to the local bookstore almost every day to see if they had the latest volume out and would sit there reading the other volumes for a good hour or two if they didn't. It just blends a lot of genres together which is probably why I'm so engrossed in it.

    And Kururu (or Kululu, I never figured out which name was the proper one...) is my favourite out of the squad, especially when he bests Tororo in the first invasion. Plus, he's great for plot purposes too. *suppresses fandom*
     
    i personally, didnt like the manga in the early volumes but in the later ones, it was sometimes more enjoyable in the anime and features Alisa southerncross more.

    I just prefer the anime simply because they add a few extra scenes(like kururu giving Mois dono gum, doesn't happen in manga) and the anime has good voice actors so its fun to watch plus the theme and ending songs are fun too.

    Im glad there are some fans of the series here!
