    There's a bunch of Joggers on the routes (especially around Solaceon).
    I initially though they didn't battle.
    Then at some point when i tried to pass one it decided to battle me.
    Now I'm running past them again without wanting to battle me.

    Is this time based? Day based?
    Wondering how I can battle them =3
     
    Guess I'll need to experiment to find their time.
    Because I'm pretty sure I've run past them during the (late) afternoon and they don't care lol
    Guess I'll try in the morning next.
    Probably should've just paid attention when they randomly decided to battle me xD

    The policemen I did know. I'm not sure what game it was, but I remembered battling policemen only during the evening/night in a previous game. So when I saw them in BDSP, I decided to come back again later so I could beat them =D
     
    This was largely a 2nd Gen thing with Policemen I think, but was left out in Hoenn. It came back in 4th Gen and then again left out the rest of the games.

    I have been wondering why there was so many people who didn't want to battle. I knew about the Policemen, but didn't know about the joggers. I like battling every trainer. I don't like leaving any out, so knowing this, I need to go back and do these. As far as I know, besides joggers and policemen, I don't not think there are any more.

    Bit of a PSA I guess.

    For anyone wanting to fight the Joggers:
    They are definitely morning only. I fought them around 9:45 this morning.

    Additional note: If you saved on the route they are on, you will need to leave and re-enter the route to fight them.
    I saved my character right next to one last night. I could not battle the jogger this morning. Left and re-entered the route and suddenly the jogger challenged me.
