Is Super Mystery Dungeon worth playing?

To be honest, I need to give SMD another whirl. I started it and got a few hours in, but never continued due to time constraints and disinterest (relative to other interests) I guess. It was fun, but I dont think I can give a proper review or recommendation.

Super Mystery Dungeon was a pretty good game, and I would definitely give it a shot. I only have two issues with it.

1.The Story isn't as well done as Explorers of Sky in my opinion, and I like Sky 100% better.

2. There is absolutely 0 post-game. You do one short story line and that's it. Once you beat the game, there's no reason to play it anymore.

However, there are definite upsides to the game.

1. The battle mechanics are better and more balanced than other games, and the new mechanics added are wonderful.

2. While the story may not be as good as it could have been, it is still well written and absolutely worth playing.

3. The graphics are A++

4. The updated Questing/Rescue mechanics are just wonderful.

So overall, yeah you should definitely play through it. It's a great game to play overall, and my experience with it was simply great.

I think Super Mystery Dungeon are top notch in a sense, given that usually Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series tend to be good. Even though I haven't finished the game yet, but I'd still recommend it if you're looking for some challenge.

Hmm... I'm not sure if there's no post-game though, because there is still something to do if you wanted to meet every single Pokémon available. In fact, all of these Pokémon included up to Gen VI (excluding Volcanion) are available in the game.

I mean you can go for having all 720 pokemon on your roster, if you're into that. Otherwise, there really isn't anything to do. There wasn't for me, at least.
