Is Shedinja a weak pokemon even with the wonder guard ability?

Is Shedinja a weak pokemon even with the wonder guard ability? If not, how so? But before you answer, let me explain why I'm asking. Shedinja is strong with the wonder guard ability but it gets wipe out by one hit from it's weakness because it has 1 hp, and it's wonder guard doesn't protect itself from weather, condition, and attacks that it's vulnerable to. So if shedinja is strong, what would be the perfect moveset and the perfect item for shedinja to have even fighting against it's weakness?

I think Shedinja is good pokémon sometimes (and sometimes it isn't)

    1. Mystery Dungeons: There was a little problem when Shedinja followed me and I had to fight with it, I didn't have almost any moves that I could use, finally I killed it with Vacuum-Cut.
    2. When beating the game: It would be good pokémon with you as if someone has pokémon with moves that doesn't work on your Shedinja, just put it there and kill that guy.
    3. Playing with others: It can be good or bad, if you're opponent has prepared for it, it can be dead in second. If not, you can kill some of his/her pokémon (maybe)

I haven't used Shedinja by myself so usually so I don't know so much about this but I think this could be even little help. I don't know anything about it's attacks so I don't speak anything else.

I was going to use one and then it got beat by Leech Seed. And I was like "This is lame screw this D:<" and stopped.

Shedinja is actually pretty weak. I guess Game Freak knew that they needed to be careful with it, it's more important for it to be accidently too weak than accidently too strong.

But as it is, it has a lot of common weaknesses, e.g. Flying, Rock and Dark. Not to mention any damaging status effect will instantly KO it.

When playing in-game it isn't even all that good because the AI is too smart where Shedinja is concerned. If the active opponent doesn't have a super effective move, they'll switch to one that does, if they don't have one, they'll switch to one that has a status effect that will knock it out. If they have a super effective move or status effect that will KO it, they'll use it 100%. Most trainers have at least one, so that only gives you a maximum of two turns to Double Team and try to survive.

    But I like its quirkiness.

With entry hazards like Stealth Rock and weather conditions like sandstorm and hail dominating the current metagame, it's undeniably a weak Pokemon. Granted, if it actually did something, it would be more useful, but it doesn't.

It's good only if you have a decent rapid spinner and not going against a sandstorm team, the latter of which you have no control of. If you plan your entry, again if you're not against all other hazards, it almost walls many sweepers that doesn't have the super effective move. Again, it's a gamble. It could be a couple bust or win you the game. I consider no usable (usable pokemon that actually can have a moveset worth playing) is weak.

Just chipping in my two cents here; Like the others said, with the Hazards here, including the things like Snover's Snow Warning (or whatev.), and T-Tar's Sandstream...Well, it wasn't that useful in RSE, and it's even more useless with all of DPP's changes.

It is not that good i dont like and any pokemon can beat it with the right moves

Its stats are pretty good if you ev train it, all you have to do is attack first and ko the enemy. But in competitive battling somone will always come prepared with a move that can beat shedninja. Other then that shedninja owns

It's well below average in every stat except Attack, in which it has an average base stat, at 90.

I despise Shedinja. I had one once, and it fainted the first time I used it. Boo

So much can kill it, even back in 3rd gen. Now, chances are good you'll run into something that can finish it off before it can react. And even if it does get the chance to do something, it's hardly gonna be lethal.

Meh, I just avoid using it at all. The classic novelty Pokemon.

I keep one in my Daycare on Emerald just in case. When I travel with it, it gets KO'd by something really cheap like being poisoned, but when I was having trouble beating Norman, I whipped it out and it was pretty epic.

It varies. Shedinja can be either a bad or good Pokemon to be in your team. You just gotta know when and how to use it.

If your opponent knew or prepared for something like this, then it's practically useless. However, there's always a chance that you're facing a trainer with all six Pokemon not being able to damage it...

Hmmmmm. Well..... I think I agree with what all of you said. Shedinja can be good if you use it the right way, but I mostly agree that shedinja is too weak because of the weather (like sandstorm), condition (like toxic), and field attacks (like stealth rock) wipe it out with one final blow.

Well Shadinja is a mutated clown of Ninjask, No?
I doubt clone pokemons are stronger then the original ones.
I don't think Shadinja is a good pokemon even with its special abilities.
Once,I trained my Shadinja up to Level 52 and a Level 21 Pikachu beat that pokemon easily.
