4th Gen Im worried that i cant evolve my togepi anymore because it fainted a few times

What level is it? You still can, because you just need to raise its friendship level again.

its only at level 12 or so cuz i really just began the game but i was reading other threads and they said not let it faint or it would be nearly impossible to evolve.

It won't be "nearly impossible"
It will just take longer. Maybe put it in your pokewalker (if available) and just raise it's friendship that way.

If you can find a soothe bell, give it to the togepi. I remember I had one in my bag when I was in Ecruteak City. The soothe bell will raise the Pokemon's happiness. You can also give the Togepi hairstyles in Goldenrod City. Giving it items like HP UP will also increase it's happiness towards you. Do your best not to make it faint and that Togepi should evolve soon!

Really? I've never heard that before =p Just continue to level it up and prevent it from dying. Also, to help, you could give it haircuts in Goldenrod City.

Your Pokemon will always be able to evolve. Fainting only takes away 1 point of happiness. You can easily gain this back by walking 256 steps, or by using a non-herb/root healing item.

Don't worry, just walk with your Pokemon by your side, have it level normally, etc. and it will evolve via your love.

you still can. just keep it at the front of your party, try not to let it faint, and train it :)

The easiest way is putting it in the Pokewalker. Or just give it the Soothe Bell and run around through Johto.

As said, you can evolve it, it'll just take a little longer is all. There's no stage where it's impossible to make a Pokemon happy enough to evolve, for the record.
