please tell me what moveset i can make my venusaur learn.

    thx in advance

Hm.... sloarbeam and suny day is a good compination ( think that) Better if you have a groundon firrst in yor party and it makes the sun come and you can use solarbeam without charging :) m.. synthetis is good to.... and earthquake.......

    Venasaur.
    Sunny day
    Solarbeam
    Synthetis
    Earthquake.

This is just what I thinkwould good.

One of my friends did this with his Leaf Green Venusaur for 1v1 battles.
    Leftovers
    Frenzy Plant
    Leech Seed
    Substitute
(stat boosting move I think, I forgot exactly what it was)

Once it gets a foothold, it is rather irritating. Even switching out to a fire allows it to use leech seed and switch. Ok, I know about the usual lum berry and stuff, but it still works.

It's better to use something like Giga Drain or Magical Leaf rather than Frenzy Plant. Although more powerful than two Giga Drain or Magical Leaf attacks, Frenzy Plant leaves you vulnerable for an entire turn.

It's the same reason why Slaking is so awful in battle.

Ignore whoever said "sunny day," or "Frenzy Plant." Those 2 moves on a Venusaur is a sure idenication for "please kill me." Personally I'm not thrilled about using an offensive grass move on Venusaur period.

A whole log entry is done for Venusaur in the Advanced Battledex already... so before the question is even asked, the answer is actually posted for a while now.

That was the reason for substitute, leech seed and leftovers. I am not a major fan of such moves admittedly, but this moveset seemed to make sense to me.
    ...Slaking is awful in battle? I love it ;_;

considering the majority of teams today have at least 1 thing that knows protect, or is resistant to Hyper beam, or both, Slaking would have a hell of a time trying to do anything at all =/

Anyways, in regards to Venusaur: HP Grass is so much better than Frenzy plant. Why? Because you cna SWITCH. You don't want to end up frenzying a charizard on the switchin just so it can set up a sub/drum sweep with Salac or anything, do you now?

    venasaur @ macho brace
    giga drain
    solarbeam
    frenzy plant
    and earthquake
blah my vena named seedy sucks its on lvl 45 my whole FR team sux....

I was attacked by this type of Venasaur on Netbattle. It stalls until you run out of HP >.<.

    Venusaur (F) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Overgrow
    EVs: 129 HP / 132 Def / 249 SDef
Timid or Bold Nature (-Atk/+Speed or Def)
    - Leech Seed
    - Protect
    - Toxic
    - Synthesis

Only until you switch to any Grass- or Posion-type with protect. It's still a pretty good idea.

Whatever you do,don't add in sunnyday, fire pokemon,or pokemon w/ fire moves comes, fried venusaur for diner.

    Frenzyplant
    razorleaf
    earthquake
    Synthesis

Ahh heard of that one long time ago, but I really dreaded it because it's completely useless against another poison/grass type, or anything faster with sub. I personally like to tack in one attack just to break subs so at least you don't have to be forced to switch out asap and so on...

Once again, for most other people who are really doing more harm than help, Advanced Battledex.

giga drain, sludge bomb (stab makes tronger w/ Eq, and can poison), leech seed, toxic

    Thats Aerodactly bait...

Frost, send AdamHays a PM. He knows nothing and continues to give out bad advice in most of the threads, IMO its spam.

Well can't blame that moveset to be poor just because it's Aerodactyl bait. All Venusaurs are Aerodactyl bait unless you got sleep powder, at full hp and Aerodactyl got choice band instead of lum berry, then you have a slight chance to survive by launching sleep powder asap, leech seed it and keep healing or something... Not Kirby's fault. All grass types are doomed by Aerodactyl besides a very rare few, like Exeggutor, who I believe to be able to survive HP Flying with 5% hp left and then you can setup sunny day and solarbeam Aerodactyl into oblivion next turn.

As for Adamhays, shouldn't you address the problem to Toothache? I'm not a mod *feels so free to say that*

    my prized venusaur moveset:
venusaur (male) naughty nature, miracle seed
    razorleaf (critical hit)
    frenzy plant (one hit wonder)
    sludge bomb (poison)
    earthquake (variety)

sometimes it just makes me wonder if asking questions on PC is ever a good thing to do... seems like there's plenty of harm as well as advices.

remember every1 never use 2 moves of the same type unless it has diff effects, ie: toxic, sludgebomb

My Venasaur is at level 40 it knows:
    Frenzy Plant
    Razor Leaf
    Earthquake
    Protect
and just because my venasaur i weak does not make me weak. My charizard is at level 98. hahahahaha

i like balstiose blc it can easily beat venasaur or charizard or even pikachu (unless it has lightball).its good at tanking, and can use surf pretty well. just give it a leftover to help last. give it counter/mirror coat/surf/toxic or icebeam
