    Are there any characters that you miss from the original series who have yet to appear again since then? (I miss you, Todd, you were really cool back in the original series.)
     
    Hiroshi/Ritchie comes to mind actually. I'd love to see what pokemon him and ash share now. I realize that he is a lot like Ash but I really don't card I really liked him as Z character.

    Duplica is another I would love to see again too.
     
    A.J. and his Sandshrew cross my mind often. It's a shame that he wasn't even given a cameo in the Indigo League episodes. But at least he was somewhat there in the Orange Islands opening.

    I also miss Harrison from the Johto League episodes. He's my favorite character, but he's another one of those characters that served his purpose and moved on. He told Ash about Hoenn and that was it. That was all that he was needed for.
     
    What was that group of sisters with eeveelutions? If there will be a new eeveelution, they should come back.

    Ritchie and Electabuzz Casey (Johto) come to my mind immediately for a topic like this. Ritchie because he was such good friends with Ash, even when they had to battle each other (and Ash ended up losing because he foolishly called out his Charizard, who wouldn't obey him at the time); Casey because she adored Pikachu and other yellow Pokémon.

    Those were the Kimono Girls and Casey.

    I'd love to see Casey return again with her Elekid fully evolved. Maybe someday in the future...
     
    I miss Casey, Richie and Sakura. They were my favourite recurring characters in the Original Series.

    I know he came back during DP, but I'd like to see Gary return again, either near the end of XY&Z (I doubt it though) or in the next series.
     
    I'd love to see Hunter J appear again; she's the only credible villain the anime series has ever had, as her one and only failure may have very well cost her her life...and it'd be fantastic if it hadn't, because her ruthless attitude and competence made her more memorable than the ones she worked for. Bring her back with Mega Salamence working for Lysandre or something!

    Also, Harley. Harley Harley Harley. He was perhaps the one good thing to come out of the Hoenn anime, and I'd love to see him again.

    I also wouldn't mind seeing Tobias again, even though I'm still mad as hell at him for cheating Ash out of his Sinnoh League victory. He was by far the most interesting "curbstomp trainer appears!" character due to the fact that he just stayed apart from everyone, unlike every other trainer that has beaten Ash in the past.
