I miss Misty

    I miss Misty, she was so cool. Actually, she was one of the only reasons I watched the show. But now that she's gone I havn't seen the show in a looong time. I didn't care much when Brock left (I don't really think anybody cared that Brock left), but Misty is SO different. Pluss, Max doesn't compare to Misty when it comes to pulling Brock's ear. :D And I don't think May knows the first thing about Pokemon (I've only seen a few minutes of early eppisodes and all the ones I've seen with May in them she didn't know much). Hopefully she's gonna come back like Brock did. Does anyone agree Misty should get back on the show?
     
    She does come back for about 4 episodes a 2 part episode during the hoenn season and for 3 episodes during Battle Frontier then returns back to the gym because of her sisters having trouble with running the gym

    I have no doubt that the season after Battle Frontier Misty will return from her break and travel with Ash & Co again... i can just imagine the cat fight that will happen between her and May deciding who gets the most attention from Ash even though the two girls are real good friends it will still happen :)
     
    Of course Haruka didn't know one single thing about Pokemon because she was only a beginning trainer at that time, just like Satoshi went he first became a Pokemon trainer. She knows alot more about Pokemon now.

    Kasumi lost her touch and got stale in Jouto, so the writers wrote her off because she became completely boring (Takeshi got boring too, but they didn't want to risk what happened in the Orange Islands). So unless the writers toss out a whole lot of character developement they've given her and pretend nothing has happened, she won't be coming back.

    And to the post above: Haruka has never hinted that she has an interest in Satoshi in any way. So I doubt Kausmi and Haruka would get into a "cat fight" over Satoshi.

    I do! she was the only one who could really keep Brock in line
    Max is just a gnat to Brock
    Misty was an actual threat.

    May/Max have a reason to stay in the show, Misty doesn't as she has fulfilled her purpose. She was a plot device.

    Her reason to leave was to run her gym. Brock still wanting to become a Pokemon Breeder, and hasn't completed his purpose yet. Same with May, and her contests.

    Indeed she was....
    But that doesnt mean that they should throw her out like a manky old boot...:(
     
    Yeah....Even in the current Japanese episodes theres still no Misty...
    Sadly she only comes back for 2 or 3 episodes.
    Well, and theres the one Pokemon Chronicles episode that shes in.
     
    i feel that even though she has achived her "goal" she still hasnt lived out her potential as a character and they should at least try to bring her back next season maybe...
    if they ever make another one...
     
    I agree, ever since she left, the only reason for me to watch the show was Brock! Why won't they bring her back:(
     
    I agree Misty still has alot of potential in her as a main character and was the only one who could keep Ash & Brock in line where as Max is just plain annoying unlike May who is starting to become a real good character

    For the season after battle frontier it should be Ash,Brock,Misty & May travelling as having 3 males and 1 female sounds really unfair especially when May doesnt know how to keep Ash and Brock in line like Misty does

    If Max wants to show his full potential as a character why doesnt he go back to Petalburg City get his trainer pokemon and start off on his own adventure meeting up with Ash & Co along the way

    I agree Max IS just plain annoying (sorry Max fans but it's my own opinion). And Misty has been around sence the first eppisode and they just throw her away! And I guess May's alright, I just don't think she's a good replacement for Misty. >.< And I think it is TOTALLY unfair that the characters are three boys and one girl that's just unfair. >.< And it SHOULD be Ash, Misty, Brock, and May. That way it's even. But if Misty likes Ash then Brock and May are the only ones left and... I hope you don't mean what I'm thinking! O.O Because May has dibs on Drew and yet again Brock's all alone. ^_^ I wonder if Brock'll ever find someone for him... Heheh. Oh, and the fact that Max doesn't have his starter Pokemon is that I don't think he's old enough. Ash is ageless on TV so he'll always stay ten years old and if Max is about half his size I doubt he's ten (unless he's a midget).
     
    I agree SumShine904 but if Misty's sisters werent so dense as to how to run the Cerulean City gym Misty would have been traveling with Ash & Co right about now

    As i've said in other threads on this site if Misty comes back then May would have an older sister role model just like Ash has an older brother role model in Brock

    Plus i miss the days of where Misty got real mad when a girl would flirt with Ash and she would intervene either causing a cat fight or knocking Ash out with her mallet :laugh: when you think about it Misty is sorta like a overprotective girlfriend rather than one of his best friends

    By having 2 males & 2 females in the traveling party after Battle Frontier would stabalize the balance of the crew which is currently way out of whack because of 3 males and only 1 female
     
    *gasp*How dare you! May complains WAY more. I agree with the person 3 posts above me. If you want some more Misty, join me in hiring someone to bring TR Rose's Fanfics to a video at Newgrounds.com or a simiaur place. Especially the one with Jessie and James marrying.(Which probably will happen either on the very last episode of pokemon or sooner)
     
    I reckon they oughta make a pokemon series called Pokemon All Grown Up where Ash,Misty,Brock and May are in their teens and travelling together like they did when younger

    Not only would this be a huge boost in ratings but also were likely to see more pokeshipping hints :)
     
    Dude, Ash is around 12, Misty is around 14, and Brock is in his 20's.
     
    That will never happen. The sole purpose of the anime is to promote the games, they base the location of where they're travelling on where the region in the current game is.

    Where would they travel in their teens? Seems to create more plotholes in the anime than ever before if that happened. Which is actually a step down. o_O

    ya misty was hot (besides the small boobs) i miss her...but her overalls annoyed me and her new out fit annoys me even more, it looks like crap
