6th Gen I Found A Way For Scraggy To Have Drain Punch/Dragon Dance

This is a very very tedious process.Ive always wanted Scraggy to have Drain Punch and Dragon Dance, but as most of you know it was basically impossible before X/Y. BUT ive found a way, finally!

This method does have to deal with smeargles ability sketch.

I'll just jump right into the process.

First we need to catch a male and female Mienfoo on route 8, since they learn Drain Punch at level 33.Unforunatly we only find them around levels 15ish,if I remember. So now we have to level them both up to 33 and teach them Drain Punch.

But since we need smeargle to sketch Drain Punch w/o killing him(since Fighting Type is Super Effective). We need to breed both of our Mienfoo's. So the baby knows Drain Punch.

Now comes alittle tricky part: We need to level up our Mienfoo no more then level 10 since any higher and our Drain Punch will kill'em(depending on your base stats) And we have to EV train our Mienfoo to have 28 speed (Very important), so we can use Drain Punch first.
After Smeargle Sketchs our Drain Punch capture him(has to be a male). B/C we want our baby female scraggy to learn the egg moves Drain Punch and Dragon Dance.

Now we either have to level up our male Smeargle so he re-learns Sketch or have him remember it by the Reminder Lady in Dendemille Town(spelled wrong).

Now we must go seek a wild Altaria(dragon pokemon with clouds for wings) on Route 21. This process is also very tedious. Its a lot of turning off the game and back on.
Once we encounter one use sketch and hope it uses Dragon Dance. Once it does, go to the daycare on route 7 and breed your Male Smeargle who now has Dragon Dance and Drain PUnch with a female Scraggy and enjoy!

You could just get into a double battle to sketch your ally pokemon's attack. Just Level Smeargel up enough to take a hit. Or, in a triple battle, use a third pokemon with "follow Me" to protect Smearlge from attacks.

Male Mienfoo with Drain Punch + Female Scraggy = Female Scraggy with Drain Punch
Female Scraggy with Drain Punch + Male Altaria with Dragon Dance = Scraggy with Drain Punch and Dragon Dance

Females can now pass on Egg Moves, too, so that makes things a lot easier.

That's what I usually do whenever I want my Smeargle to copy a move. I haven't tried to breed egg moves though, should though as a dragon dance Scraggy sounds fearsome...

Breed a male Mienfoo/Mienshao with Drain Punch with any female Scraggy.

Wow, that was easy. I don't need Dragon Dance.

As for Sketch, it's difficult to get a Smeargle caught without a Quick Ball since it will always sketch your first move. However, if you have a slower Pokémon, that gets Sketch used first. Since it has 1 PP, you find it using Struggle afterwards and damaging itself. Stand by until it's in the red, catch it, then heal it and get it involved in a double battle back at Lumiose. Have it learn the move (we don't care about the battle results) then level it up again to relearn Sketch.

I'm going to be doing exactly this and having it learn four of the moves that help you collect items in the battle background. I will then breed a male and female and spam Wonder Trade. Later, in December, I'll import my parent Zoroarks and breed more of those babies to spam on Wonder Trade.
