    I'm currently having some trouble with it. ^^;

The first time I ever played it, which was about three days ago, I had no clue how it worked and so I was lv. 36 before I went into Temporal Spire. I must have died about 20 times before I finally said "this isn't working" and started over the game. Now I'm a Vulpix (currently lv. 27 and on chapter 10) with a Shinx partner. I've been feeding my Vulpix tons of Gummis and giving it some pretty awesome abilities, and after that I'm working on the Shinx.

I have all my Reviver Seeds and Stun and Sleep Seeds in Kangaskhan Storage right now until I can get to Hidden Island. But I'm a bit afraid that when I go through the first level of Temporal Tower, I'll end up using all my Reviver Seeds without meaning to since I'll probably end up dying a lot D:

    So my question is...do I continue training until I'm some obscene level like 80 or something, or do I go through the chapters as usual? What should I do to defeat Dialga? And when I do encounter him, do you have any suggestions for how I should go about trying to make him faint? I really need help here. ^^;

I apologize if there's already a thread like this. I checked, but one can always make a mistake.

I gave my pokemon and his partner a munch belt. I believe I was around lvl 40 when I beat Dialga with my Cyndaquil and Squirtle. All i did was stock up on a tonne of Reviver seeds, and hope for the best. Beat him first time

I was lv. Like, 35 and I had mud slap, my partner had good fighting moves, it was simple, lower his accuracy, then kill him, for you, I would recommend x eye seeds as they can seriously destroy dialga if you aren't a mud kip or cyndaquil

    Insert random filler here.

I'm not sure if all these items are available on EoS, but here's my suggestion:

    1. Get at least 1 move on each pokemon (you and your partner) that isn't 'not very effective' against Dialga

    2. Get at least 1 move on either one of your pokemon that is supereffective against Dialga (In this case, you should definitely teach Dig to Vulpix, I used it on my Piplup and it worked amazingly).

    3. Get many, many reviver seeds. You should have at least 5 seeds for the Dialga fight and at least 5 for the Hidden Land and Temporal Tower (combined). You can just keep getting perfect results on sentry duty every day to gather them. Also, it's a good idea to get many ranged moves (Flamethrower for example) on your pokemon so that you can attack enemies in the Hidden Land and Temporal Tower from a distance and not lose too many lives.

    4. Get a couple Foe-Hold Orbs in case you dont die or restart the dungeon if you run into monster houses on the way to Dialga (they'll be paralysed until they get attacked, so don't attack them, and turn all the moves off for your partner)

    5. During the fight, you should have 2 violent seeds, at least 3 X-eye seeds, and 2 stun seeds. During the battle: first, move your starter to the left one spot so that Dialga is in your line of sight, and PRAY that it doesnt use Roar of Time on this turn. Then, throw a stun seed at it, and make sure you and your partner don't attack it. Make you and your partner eat a Violent Seed to maximize Attack and Sp. Attack, then throw an X-Eye seed at Dialga: while it moves around, use ranged moves on it, and keep throwing X-Eye seeds when it goes back to normal.
If you don't have at least 1 range move on each pokemon, then use sleep seeds and make it fall asleep in front of you instead. Try to be able to use the x-eye seed strategy though, because it works ALOT better.

This was probably a little excessive, but fighting Dialga on my game was REALLY frustrating, and I hate to see someone else have trouble with it :(

Hope this works, and GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!! :D

Thank you for all of that, Lickitricky. :3 One thing I'm having trouble understanding, though, is this:
    4. Get a couple Foe-Hold Orbs in case you dont die or restart the dungeon if you run into monster houses on the way to Dialga (they'll be paralysed until they get attacked, so don't attack them, and turn all the moves off for your partner)
I wasn't aware you could restart the dungeon? And what will turning all the moves off do if I eventually have to get past the Monster House? ^^; It's probably very simple but I'm confused anyway. :/

and PRAY that it doesnt use Roar of Time on this turn.
Unfortunately there's no hope... Dialga always uses Roar of Time on the beginning of battle.

If you turn your partner's moves off partner won't attack paralyzed enemies.
But if I remember correctly partner won't attack anyway in case of paralyzed enemies.

I actually beat Primal Dialga easily. If you were to have Pikachu as partner or player, I'd teach it Brick Break, Discharge, Thunderbolt and Wide Slash. If you had Riolu, you'd go boom and knock Primey out in 3-4 hits. Although considering you don't, teach Shinx Discharge, and if you can, Wide Slash, Thunderbolt and Scary Face. Teach Vulpix Dig, Fire Blast, Flamethrower and Confuse Ray. Keep 5-6 Foe- Hold Orbs for the dungeons on hand, and 6-7 X- Eye Seeds, 10-12 Reviver Seeds and 3-6 Sleep Seeds. Make you and your partner Lv45- 50 (Golden Seeds, codes for rescue missions). That should help.

    Sorry lol, I should've clarified:
Almost every time I run into a monster house without items to escape from it, I always shut down my game so that I reload it at the save point I made right before the dungeon. If I don't, then I obviously die because there are so many Pokemon that attack me. That's what I mean by "restarting the dungeon or dying" ^^ Which you can avoid by using Foe-Hold Orbs.
These orbs make all the Pokemon on the floor petrified, meaning that they won't ever, ever move or attack UNTIL they get attacked themselves, which would make them capable of moving/attacking again. That's why you don't want to attack anything, and why you'd want to turn off all moves on your partner so that it doesn't accidentally attack anything either: if you just leave all the Pokemon as they are, you can get through the Monster House without taking any damage and move on to the next floor :)
(You obviously would turn on your partner's moves again when you get past the Monster House floor lol xD)

Also, as a side note, I just beat Dialga again on my Explorers of Darkness lol: with a lv 32 Chikorita using Energy Ball and a lv 33 Torchic using Flamethrower, I used the excact strategy I told you about and ended up winning without losing a single Reviver Seed :D

P.S. Dialga didn't use Roar of Time on the first turn, so it's not a guaranteed thing ^^

That's very weird O.o It never happened to me xD
By the way I wouldn't recommend him to go away from Monster House once he uses Foe-Hold =) Because he can beat all pokes one by one and gain lots of exps =)

I believe I was at like level 40 when I took on Dialga for the first time. I had stashed up on Reviver Seeds and restarted the dungeon a couple times so I didn't like lose them on the first 3 floors, but remarkably didn't lose a single one in the fight. My common tactic on the run what I believe to be sidestepping until I could either confuse/stun or put a foe to sleep before bashing it and repeating the process.

I find stocking up on a low amount (two is good for me) of orbs for the floors between the entrance and the "pit" of most dungeons to avoid the random monster houses you may face. Orbs that pause I find most effective.

I think I was around the late Lv. 30's when I beat Primal Dialga.
I use a Stun Seed, then I use my partner's Agility until I get max speed.
Then I proceed to mercilessly pummel Dialga with my Munchlax's Brick Break and Treecko's Drain Punch.

    I'm actually a girl. o___o

I beat Dialga last night. :D I shall share with you what I did just in case anyone else is trying to figure out. Or just for curiosity.

It was my Vulpix lv. 47 and my Shinx lv. 45. Vulpix had Faint Attack, Confuse Ray, Flamethrower, and Fire Blast, and Shinx had Spark, Thunder Fang, Discharge, and Crunch. Vulpix's IQ was all the way up and Shinx's was at about three stars. I had eight or nine Reviver Seeds and about five X-Eye Seeds and two or three Stun and Sleep Seeds. First turn I went directly up to him knowing my Reviver Seeds would catch RoT. He ended up using Metal Claw so I threw an X-Eye seed, then used Confuse Ray. He wandered around for a while and my partner and I pummeled him with Fire Blast and Thunder Fang. Every time he would get his senses back I'd throw another one. I died once but Reviver Seed caught that. After about five turns of using Fire Blast and Thunder Fang, he fainted. :3

It was pretty satisfying if I do say so myself, although it was a bit dimmed by me defeating it at about 4.30 in the morning. XD What can I say, I'm an insomniac. And the graduation exam was nothing. As long as Shinx just used Discharge, it was easy to beat.

Thanks for your help, everyone! The X-Eye seeds were a huge help. :3
