3rd Gen How can Diglett and Dugtrio use Scratch, Slah and Cut?

    How do Diglett and Digtrio use Scratch, Slash and Cut? They don't have any claws! Do they have claws underground?

    Hmm how else would those pokemon be able to dig through all that dirt?
    Oh second thought, I don't want to know XD.

    Bottom line is they must have some kinda of appendage to dig themselves through rock and dirt, so logically they might as well have claws.
     
    Or they have got something else "mysterious" underground.. :surprised
     
    We'd kinda have to know what Diglett look like below the ground first?
     
    Hm, I always imagine it as a worm kinda. But obviosly it'd have to have claws. We don't see diglet on the show often. Rarely actually. Hmmmm... ::thinks about it:: maybe right below the ground level, it has four feet with claws (i'm imagining the star mole thing, who's nose looks like a star) lol, I dunno.
     
    Better question to ask: how does it use aerial ace o.o;

    At least if you're rushing at the enemy at an extremely high speed (which they do have) and stretch the head out to touch the enemy this way, the speed adds quite a bit of force... perhaps it slashes that way *making stuff up* o.o;

    They have the same ability as Sharpedo! (Dont remember the name ^^')

    if that's the case, it would be crunch and bite ^_^;

    Hmm... if there's 3 heads... does that mean Dugtrio gets to use Crunch 3 times every turn? Hmm... even with that crappy sp.att, attacking so many times with such a high powered move makes it pretty powerful! ^^;
     
    Well Diglett can learn Fly. I forgot which version it was on but I remember it leanred fly..lol

    ... sure there was no cheat used, or metrenome resulting in fly? o.o;

    that is QUITE impossible...

    ... and speaking of fly, how come Dodrio can use fly?

    thats exactly wat they have, rough skin(of coarse they dont really have that ability)

    wat is this doing in the ruby/sapphire section.....diglet rnt even in this game. this should go to general. someone call a mod.
     
    Doduo & Dodrio can fly because they are birds with wings!
    In the pokedex in a version it says they can fly bud not well

    They supposedly have wings but in Stadium 1/2/Colosseum they run and start to hover. They look like Yoshi when they do that (you know when Yoshi hovers for a bit by kicking his feet). What's weirder is when a Diglett, Dugtrio, or Onix uses Fly in Stadium 1/2...

    And I've also thought that they may have had sharp teeth and used it for scratching ever since R/B.
     
    Diglett and Dugtrio have Arena Trap and not Sharpedo's ability... (which is the only reason why the Wobuffet/Dugtrio combo works)

    I would love to see how they can fly across Houen/anywhere... Real life chicken has wings, right? Let's see them fly across 2 blocks then.

    Diglett/Dugtrio are in this game though. However, questions like these are usually in the Pokemon General section...
     
    Well, if a Dugtrio is just three conjoined moles, then it must have some way of digging around in the ground. They wouldn't use their heads, as they would bang into something and give themselves brain damage. But if they did have claws, they would be able to dig around in the ground and everything.
    The thing is though, where would the claws be? They wouldn't be underground, as then it would be extremely difficult to use the attcks mrntioned in the title. I'm thinking that the claws are small, but near where the body connects to the ground. That way they can use attacks, and dig around in real life.
