Rampardos: Highest Attack (next to attack deoxys) but I can't decide between him and Garchomp. This is probobly a very stupid topic though. Rampardos has higher attack, but a little bit lower of all the other stats compared to garchomp. Rampardos' effect (mold braker) is much better then garchomps', imo. Its signature move, head smash, is a stab 150 recoil damage attack. Along with his attack and a swords dance, that can OHKO most things. His HP will drop with recoil, but then endeaver fixes that. This is my Ramparodos moveset:

    Rampardos @ ???
    Adamant
    Mold braker

    Endeaver
    Swords dance
    Head smash
    persuit/zen headbut

Can someone either tell me I'm a retard, or talk about this.
    Thanks

    Rampardos@Leftovers
    Adamant
    MoldBreaker

    Endeavor/Reversal
    Swords Dance
    Head Smash
    Zen Headbutt

Well this is pretty standard, so just go with it.

Don't even think about using Endeavor without a Salac Berry. Ramparados is just too slow.

Wait, wait, wait...Ramaparados can't even learn Reversal?

Yeah, but endeavor is exactly the same. How do you get salac berrys anyway? Coliseum???

How about giving it a Speed boosting Nature? Slow sweepers usually [blah blah snorlax i know i know blah blah]) don't work.

Head smash will do an increadible amount of damage. Recoil is one third of what you do. Salac berry will work great, but speed nature probobly will help.

Recoil is actually 1/2 for Head Smash.

Slow sweepers do work, if you know how to battle well. Why do you think people fear Rhyperior more than Garchomp?

Mold Breaker isn't all that useful, imo.. It doesn't stop gyarados, salamence, etc from switching in and intimidate it, effectively cutting its attack. But ability aside, I do like Rampadros for sheer attack power.

    Rampadros@leftovers
    jolly +speed -sp.att
    -stone edge/head smash
    -earthquake
    -rock polish
    -zen headbutt/pursuit

it needs jolly nature, max ev's in speed, and rock polish(+2 speed) in order to get its speed over 350 to outspeed the pokemon it needs. it rips through a lot of teams though if it's set up right.

sword dance is useless on it. rampadros has 420ish attack at neutral nature but only 220ish in speed with jolly, so obviusly it needs speed a lot more than it needs attack. rampadros has poor defence you know, with a lot of weaknesses too, so even if you sword dance up you may not be able to get off a single attack before it faints.

I would advise having a baton passer give Rampardos an agility boost. A Scizor fully powering up its attack & speed could pass it on to Rampardos for a devestating effect.

rampardos is only good @ choice scarf with Jolly nature. max out speed and attack and give it a full physical moveset, but DO NOT give it head smash. the recoil damage on head smash is 1/2 rather 1/3. instead of head smash, give it Stone Edge or Rock Slide. with that Atk stat, it can still OHKO things with a STAB'd Rock Slide. moveset should be Earthquake/Stone Edge/Zen Headbutt/Avalanche @ Choice Scarf, 252 Spd/252 Atk/4 HP.
