[PokeCommunity.com] Help with playing a Pokemon Essentials game: Pokemon Africanvs/Africanus

I just got a PC after more than 7 years without one, so I've been getting back into Pokemon gaming in general.
This is honestly the first time i've gotten properly stumped on what to do since the only link to the creators seems to be on Twitter and we can't send private messages if we aren't followed back for non-subscribers.

Just downloaded the game, unzipped the folder, but the game itself isn't working when I try to open it.

It just says "Error creating context: Could not create GL context: The operation completed successfully."

Anyone have any idea about what I should do? I really want to play this.

Depending on what you use your computer for you could try using Linux if paying for Windows isn't an option. I've only ever not been able to get one fan game to run on it and the other I was having issues with got working earlier with a workaround
