[Sword & Shield] Help With Breeding

    So I've been playing pokemon for a while, dropped sword and decided to get back into it. I'm actually really enjoying myself, but I need help understanding breeding. I've done some research but can't find any straight answers.

    So my overall goal is to breed a Torchic, my favorite pokemon is Blaziken, with the adamant nature and if possible the hidden ability speed boost. The thing is I'm not sure how to do that. Right now I have a Blaziken with the Careful nature, +Sp. Attack not very good, so I think my best bet is to get a Ditto with the Adamant nature and breed from therem but I'm not sure.

    So my questions are: What exactly is passed down when breeding? Natures? Stats? Abilities? Can an offspring have a seperate ability from parent? E.g. Blaziken with blaze, can it's offspring have a change of getting Speed boost (Blaziken's hidden ability). And Finally, I know the odds are low, but is there a chance that the hatched pokemon is a shiny regardless of parents?

    For breeding, here's what get passed down:
    -If a parent has an Everstone, the nature is guaranteed to be passed down, otherwise you will always get random natures.
    -IVs can be passed down via Destiny Knot (5IVs are randomized between the two parents so if both parents were say 31/31/31/x/31/31 then the offspring will have a greater chance to have that spread) or a Power Item (which guarantees a 1 IV stat will be passed down depending on the item) but the former is more ideal. IVs are completely random without items.
    -You can also pass down egg moves (either gender works) as well as Pokéballs (if 2 parents are the same species in different Pokéballs then it's a 50/50 chance, otherwise it will always pass down a Pokéball from the female or the male with Ditto).
    -With Hidden Abilities, you can only obtain them if one of the parents (female with any male in the egg group or a male with a Ditto) also has that ability but there is an item which can switch that Pokémon's current ability to its Hidden Ability.
    -As for shinies, there is a technique known as Masuda Method which allows you to earn an increased shiny chance if you breed two Pokémon of different languages.

    If you have Crown Tundra DLC, you can farm 200 dynite ore (think that is what it is called) and get the special ability capsule which will change Torchic's ability to speed boost (will take a couple hours of farming). For breeding itself, I got a 6iv shiny German Ditto from, I believe, either this or the Marilland forums like 8 1/2 years ago from a thread and it makes breeding so much easier. I only play with legit Mons but this is the one exception I made to get the Ditto because everything you breed from it is legit. Also, I can trade you a speed boost Torchic if you would like. Just send me a PM, and we can get a trade set up, I recently bred Torchics so it'll be a good start with IVs as well.
