    So I wanted to add a Professor Oak post-game battle into the game but I do not know how to insert the new trainer. He comes up on the list of trainers available, I can edit his stuff and then it repoints it but I cannot find him on the Advance Map to move him to a location.

    What am I doing wrong? Do I need something extra?

    A bulleted list for getting a custom trainer battle:

    * Use a trainer editor (I use G3T) to create your trainer and his team
    * Finalize it by having the editor compile it into your game properly
    * The trainer editor should give you a hex value for the actual trainer's battle, keep it safe
    * If you want to edit the trainer's overworld (NSE 1.0) or in-battle (NSE 2.0) sprite, use editors for those
    * Create the NPC trainer battle script in XSE, make sure you use the hex value you got from your trainer editor earlier
    * In AdvanceMap, create a new person event (right-side column) by increasing the number of them by 1
    * Click "Change events"
    * The new event will be in the top-left-most tile in the map
    * Drag it to wherever you want
    * Change the overworld sprite to what you want it to be
    * Give it the XSE script you made

    Voila!
