Hello i am considering buying the eon GCHD mk 2 for my gamecube but there is one problem. My gamecube only has 1 slot in the back, the "analog av out" one. The model of my gamecube is DOL-017, as its written on the back of my console? Does that mean the eon GCHD cannot be used on my gamecube? And if thats the case what else would be compatible? I would appreciate your help and advice on this matter, especially since that my previous thread didnt get any reply whatsoever. Thank you.

I might of found what you were looking for. As far as I can tell this investment would not work out. However, please double check your system and then check the video again at "this one here". For the reason down below in the comment box.

Make sure your GC is a model DOL-001, as with the later models of the GC Nintendo removed the outport for cost cutting measures and you do need that to use this adapter.

There are other adapters out there. I have a generic Mini Composite RCA AV converter which.. You plug into your system regularly. But.. You plug the red and white (Yellow) AV cables into this box on oneside, then on the other side of the box, plug in your hdmi cable and connect it to your TV. We had this tested with both a VCR and an N64... So in theory a GC would work. I would personally test it out as I have the same generation.. However that cable is being used by my cousin who is studying in Uni on the other side of the country.
