5th Gen Haxorus or Garchomp?

Hi guys,

I'm in the middle of raising a Fraxure on Black and couldn't help begin to compare it to when I was training my Gible/Gabite/Garchomp on Platinum...its stats are surprisingly similar! Great Attack, sluggish Special Attack (which doesn't matter too much as the moves they learn are mostly physical ones)...and given Fraxure still needs to evolve into Haxorus (I'm at Level 40 at the moment so only 8 more levels to go!), it's only going to continue to improve!

...anyway which would you rather have in your squad if you was allowed to capture both in the same game at the same stage at the same level? Because I couldn't really decide.

For me if anything it'd be Haxorus, simply because it doesn't have a Ground-type which would make it highly vulnerable to Ice-type moves. What say you guys?

And of course this should only interest those who would actually want a Dragon-type in their squad, so no "neither" answers, unless you can strongly argue one of the other Dragons...that said this is solely for the DS games so it really is between those two (unless you REALLY want to include Dragonite :P )

Firstly, the weekly poll prefix is to only be used by Kaori and I. Secondly, I'm not going to move this to Pokemon General, which is where vs threads belong, because the best dragon type exists. And since it applies to only the gaming, then a vs thread wouldn't really suit. :( So, as it is, unless you want a vs thread applying to the anime too (in which case you'd need to ask a higher staff member if you could put one in Pokemon General), then it doesn't belong anywhere.

This applies to two generations anyway, so even if you didn't know about Pokemon General's vs threads, I don't know why you put it here.
