    In honour of Halloween, what are some of your favourite ghost and dark type Pokémon? Also, if you were to choose a Pokémon to be a mascot for Halloween, who would you choose and why?

    Ghost is undoubtably one of my favourite types and I have so many favourites it's hard to list them all, some of these favourites include Mismagius, Lunala, Chandelure, Giratina, Drifblim, etc. Dark is another type that I love and my favourites are Liepard and Absol.

    Now, as for the Halloween mascot, Pumpkaboo and Gourgeist initially come to mind, they are both excellent options as they respectively embody Halloween. Mismagius, being my favourite ghost type, is another wonderful choice, I think. However, I feel as though Spiritomb has to be my answer, it has such a lovely design as well as interesting lore behind it.

    Mismagius and Banette are still tied for my favorite Ghost Pokemon, though I've noticed I'm slightly favoring Mismagius lately.

    As for a Halloween mascot; Pumpkaboo kinda already has that role imo. Though I suppose Mimikyu fits too, since it's always dressed up as something else?

    As for who I am choosing for the mascot for Halloween, well that would be Guzzlord of course! It looks like a giant monstrous Jack-o-lantern, does it not? Not to mention it looks terrifying like something you'd see on Halloween or probably out of Hell itself. As for where the Halloween party is going to take place, we're going to have it in the Old Chateau late at night!

    For Ghost: Mismagius and Dawn Wings Necrozma. Taps into the wizard aesthetic with Mismagius. Admits to being weak to that. Narrowed it down to two picks. Likes a surprising number of ghosts.

    For Dark: Absol (particularly the Mega) and Sneasel. Limited it to two here, but with less competition. Grumbles about Purrloin standing on two legs in 3D games.

    For Halloween mascot: Gourgeist. Practically designed it to be that. Classifies it as the Pumpkin Pokemon. Learns the signature move Trick-or-Treat.

    Favorite dark type: Galarian Moltres

    Favorite Halloween mascot: Gourgeist

    For Ghost, Banette for sure, been a long time favorite of mine and second place is a tie between Mismagius and Runerigus.
    For Dark, Umbreon, second place is also a tie with Absol and Houndoom, wish it had a ghost/fire regional form
    and btw, i really want to see a Ghost type Eeveelution, it would be my favorite ghost type for sure lol

    halloween mascot... i guess Gourgeist? Gengar is probably the most popular ghost type so i could see it there.
     
    Favourite Ghost-type: Mimikyu! That's not even a question! And to answer one of the following questions, I think it's one of the Pokémon that best embodies the spirit of Halloween, with its adorably spooky Pikachu costume and its allegedly terrifying appearance underneath. 10/10 would open my door to that baby on Halloween night.

    Other Ghost-types I like are the Gastly line, the Honedge line, Sableye, Alolan Decidueye and Hisuian Typhlosion.

    Favourite Dark-type: Welp... it's my second-to-least favourite type, so it's hard for me to decide on this. I've already mentioned Sableye (who would be better as part Rock or pure Ghost to be honest), but I also like Incineroar, the Johtonian Sneasel line and the Houndour line.
     
    My favorite Ghost type is Yamask. As for others - Galar Corsola, Mimikyu, and Duskull are not far behind.

    Bisharp and Tyranitar are my favorite Dark types.

    I do think the original design for Jynx was spookier too. It reminds me of the way Randall Flagg is described in the novel Eyes of the Dragon. 'A clocked figure with only eyes and mouth visible'. Tangela has kept a similar design, but it's less humanoid. It's the same reason I'm fond of Mimikyu. There's something uncanny about which you can't fully see.

    Next to Pumpkaboo and Gourgeist, I think I'd pick Umbreon to represent Halloween. Black cats are one of the first things that come to mind when I think Halloween and Umbreon is the closest thing we've got to a black cat IMO—at least visually. Both are often depicted against the moon, and Umbreon's rings even resemble cat eyes.

    I think Pumpkaboo or Mismagius are given as mascots for Halloween.

    My own fav ghost type might still be Haunter or Gengar. Classics.
