Well , I saw 2 "VS" thread so I couldn't resist the urge.
So , Who do you think is better ???

Depends on attacks, if Lucario would have fighting moves and such,
    he'd lose.

Are you talking about in battle or just who do you like better? I'm going to pretend it's the latter cause I don't really see any point of arguing about who's better in battle (just my opinion of course)

This was a bit harder than the Flygon vs Garchomp debate as I do think Greninja is cool and I really like his Protean ability but I've got to give it to Lucario. I feel like so many people fanboy/girl over Lucario, but I mean, I can see why. It's just a cool looking Pokémon. I'm a sucker for Egyptian themed Pokemon too. I also am a sucker for Lucario using the Aura Sphere move as it kinda reminds me a bit of Dragonball Z. Energy projection and all that!

    Ninja Frog vs Fighting Dog.
I'm going to have to give it to Greninja on this.

No, but seriously in terms of usefulness, Greninja's Protean ability with STAB everything + fast speed can be useful in any type of team you create. It even got Uber.

Lucario is still awesome though, don't get me wrong. :)

Greninja. It's fast, hits like a giant truck, and is a pretty solid starter. My only problem with it in-game is it's typing, it doesn't learn that much dark moves level up and all it foes is give it more weaknesses, and the main reason why water is usually my first choice is because they have so few weaknesses. I know it's not much of an issue if your that fast, but still.

I have no idea what Greninja is but Lucario is over-hyped so I'll pick it anyway.

    "Over-hyped" =/= bad. Don't be a Poke-hipster.

Lucario is one of my favorite Pokemon because how versatile and hefty they are. Steel is a great type in-general and Fighting types are the hard-hitters of the franchise. It always feels like an honor to use Lucario since they're one of the few rare Pokemon that do fantastically in battle.

Greninja is pretty awesome too. Like, ninja frog, okay? Protean and Water typing and easy access through being a starter... Nothing wrong with Greninja. Honestly, I think the design's a little off-putting. Froakie and Frogadier's designs were based around bubbles and foam, yet Greninja has none and their scarf is now their tongue? Though, to be fair, Lucario also looks awkward with dreadlocks and a spike sticking out of their chest. Don't hug Lucario.

So, both are pretty awesome in their own regard, but I'm voting Lucario because he's the OG.

Greninja is based on frogs which I like and Greninja may have one of the coolest Shiny's in the game.

Lucario looks Ok but is ridiculously overhyped. Not to mention being forced to use one in X and Y. Lucario may be one of my least favourite Pokemon due to how overhyped it is.

Greninja wins in a walkover for me.

Neither, they're both overrated fugly designs that have had far too much unwarranted attention and I wouldn't want to use either in a team.

If I was forced to use one it'd probably be Lucario, as it seems to have more options for movesets and team synergy, but I've been out of competitive battling since the fourth generation, so that might just be ignorance on my part.

But seriously, they're both awful. Ick.

As someone previous to me did, I'll just pretend this is about personal preference rather than in-battle as I have little knowledge of such matters anyway.

Lucario hands down wins for me. It is a well-designed anthropormorphic canine with a lot of personality and lore. I have a preference for canines over frogs, because I'm mainstream like that. Also, I like its portrayal in the anime as Korrina's Pokemon. A more silly version rather than the overly serious deep-voiced drama we usually get. Since I get sick of the whole trying-too-hard badassery a lot of these cooler looking Pokemon get portrayed with. I like to think of Lucario as being more fun-loving and goofy. Particularly since it reminds me of my fiance and that's pretty much his personality. it just seems really adorable that way. That and Riolu is also incredibly cute.

As for Greninja, I don't really have any opinion on it. I neither dislike nor like it. It's just kind of there. Although it's a Water-type and I'm not a fan of those too much, so that kind of subtracts from it a bit. (I just don't like fishy aquatic designs in Pokemon.)

I don't really care how popular either of them are- I just prefer Lucario as a Pokemon in general. I'm a sucker for good Steel type Pokemon, and aside from the Aggron line, Lucario's up there as one of my favorites.

I actually don't mind Greninja, but it's not even one of my favorite Kalos starters, so Lucario wins this vote easily for me.

    Greninja! I find Lucario faints way too easy ;u;

If you count mega-Lucario, Lucario. If you don't, still Lucario. Because Lucario is op and experienced.

    Spoiler:

Lucario hands down, it is one of the coolest looking Pokemon of all. Greninja for me feels overrated, similarly to Charizard I think it gets favoured by the majority of players.

Lucario yesss. Greninja gets too much hype and is just some ninja frog. Lucario is freaking Fighting/Steel-typed Anubis.
