[Other✓] Green Screen When Pokemon Evolve?

    Ok so I was testing a part in my game and I had a pokemon (which I'll get into that in a second) that got to level 17. This pokemon evolves at 17. But once I got out of the battle screen I was greeted with a big green screen and the music stopped playing, essentially a game freeze. I shook it off but took note of it, edited some other things, went back to trying to evolve this pokemon, and I was still greeted with this screen. (picture below) So I was a tad curious, and it came to be any pokemon that evolved by level would get this same screen! Not every pokemon got this screen though. I gave a moon stone to one pokemon and it evolved like normal. Now here are a few things I want to put out so this might make more sense.

    1) I'm hacking pokemon ruby.
    2) All the pokemon I tried evolving have been edited in YAPE, and the gen 3 sprite, position, and icon editor. (evolutions were edited in these programs as well)
    3) All of these pokemon work in battle, even the evolved ones. It's the evolution that doesn't work.
    4) The pokemon that evolved through a moon stone was also edited in YAPE and the gen 3 sprite, position, and icon editor. (the evolution was edited as well)
    5) The pokemon I have tried evolving are reskins of older pokemon/older pokemon with newer sprites. eg: changing pidgey to fletchling or updating poochyenas sprite
    6) The moon stone evolution pokemon is munna-->musharna, but a reskin of venonat and venomoth respectively.
    7) *update* I tried this on a earlier backup and evolution work... Something went wrong down the line, I will check it out.
    8) *update* Ok so a few days back I was curious on how to make the opponents Pokemon say ??? when they wanted to switch in a pokemon. I did the edit, and while that worked, it completely blocks off the evolution process. Coincidence? Can't be. I took the backup save I made before I added the ??? for battles and that file lets evolution work. The file I added the ??? does not.
    9)*update* So I took out the ??? opponent on my current file and well it didn't work. I will see what other differences that the two files that work/don't work have.
    10)*update* I found the problem. I think. I wanted to change the map of Hoenn around so I changed offset 151 (or 150, forgot) and while it changed the map, it gave me the screen every time. I thought I could revert it back to normal by importing a normal hoenn map, but all it did was make a custom pokemon turn gray colored. There is no fix, I gotta redo it.

    Now I have no idea why the moon stone evolution works but the level one doesn't. Has anyone else encountered this issue???
