Grease Monkey, Tampermonkey, etc

Recently, I had to install the Violentmonkey extension to add an anti adblock bypass script to get around a some stupid script that detects I have adblock on.

I personally, have never used userscript extensions like Greasemonkney or Tampermonkey before, so idk how useful they are.

Do you use user script extensions such as Greasemonkey?

Haven't really found a use to use such tools, but I have experimented in the past to get old layouts of sites like YouTube and twitter back

I used it once to bypass a survey because that is such a hassle.

Like others, I tend to use it to add/remove features on sites.

Back when Discord made the sidebar on light theme a light grey, I switched to the desktop version and wrote myself a userscript to change it back, along with some other little quality of life things. They added a toggle though, so I didn't need my script anymore. :P
