Good moveset for an Umbreon?

    I'm looking for advise. Here are the current specs.

    Shadow ball

    Psychic

    Secret Power

    Bite

    It's pretty raw, I'm aware of that. I'm going to replace Bite and Secret Power. Any suggestions?
     
    Iron tail for one. I'm not at all a pro, I just think that Iron Tail is a good move. Also, try swift. Remember, I SUCK at this kinda stuff. So try that if you want. Swift you get from Emerald Tutor. (thankyou Serebii)
     
    I think Toxic and Moonlight are good moves, because it has high Special Defense, it'll make it harder to take it down.
     
    This is the set I've seen used the most
    Toxic/Taunt
    Wish/Moonlight/Substitute
    Baton Pass
    Mean Look

    Toxic to do damage, since both of Umbreon's attack stats don't do it much good, mean look Pokemon and/or make a Substitute and Baton Pass to a Pokemon that can take care of the one you've trapped, and many don't like Toxic and Mean Look.

    Alternatively you can pass a Wish, Taunt if you don't fear Umbreon being your last Pokemon, Dark Pulse can usually provide decent damage to most Psychic/Ghost Pokemon, but it all depends on what you fear, the only thing the Toxic set fears is Steel types(AFAIK).

    OMFG if you said Iron Tail and Swift I will eat my dog.

    Iron Tail has 75% Accuracy for 100 power. That is not worth it.

    Swift is plain weak. 60 Power isn't good

    Go with Psyduck's moveset except Dark Pulse over Toxic. Toxi-stalling is a little too predictable on Umbreon.

    Are you a dumbass? Dark Pulse is a DP attack! Also, your a dumbass because I said I was a complete noob. Go to hell. Since I'm not in a terrible mood, and I'm pissed, and I have anger problems....I would beat the poo outta you, although I'm gunna call you a slutty whorefaced dumbass. You fail!

    Hmm. Yeah. Regardless, I don't believe the thread maker said if this is first or third gen, so here's a common set:

    Umbreon@Leftovers
    Nature:Bold
    Toxic
    Mean Look
    Baton Pass
    Wish

    There's one more option, but I can't remember it.

    His offensive stats are too low to attack properly, but Tanking & passing inflictions is his specialty.

    What the hell was wrong with my set? It's very popular, and he can pull off Wish/Toxic/Especially Mean Look passing quite effectivley. Of course, my Gyarados makes all Umbreon obsolete.
     
    Hah. Nice one. Ya played it cool, and now I feel dumb.
     
    Um, I use my Umbreon as an aggrivater. anyways, incase you didn't know, it has a bold (preferred over most others =/) Nature, and it's moveset is;

    Confuse ray
    Moonlight
    Darkpulse
    Toxic

    Yeah, Umbreon doesn't have terrible high attack stats, but at least with Dark Pulse yo get STAB from it. Um, with umbreons Massive defenses, it can almost always survive that first hit with enough HP to use Moonlight, and restore it to full. I don't really see the need for Baton Pass on umbreon =/
     
    Hmm, I'd suggest Bite be replaced with Dark Pulse, but that's not a move yet. Yeah, secret power is BAD. Get rid of it NAO, please. Good job teaching it Psychic, though.
     
    Why does everyone teach it Dark Pulse? To surprise your opponent with weak offenses?
